I love this one - it is very durable and the handle is thick and sturdy with a smooth grip. I knew it was great the moment it extended. I love that the tip twists off because that actually makes it breaking less likely. My cat absolutely loves it. The color is actually part of what makes it great because blues and greens are how cats see so it immediately grabbed her attention

My cat Bebe jus loves his new toy. He loves playing with it everyday. I hide it in my bag n wen i get he runs to my bag looking for it. Once i bring it out he goes nut n wants to play. This is much better than the other ones I've gotten in the past. It was worth it.

I am writing a review because I want others to know, if you have an aggressive hunter don't buy this toy. My cat has destroyed two of these in laws then a month by ripping the feathers off . However , the want itself is great quality so makes me sad the feathers can't hold but if you have a gentle kitty then it's a great buy . My cat cries if he can't play with it so I'm in a vicious cycle of having to buy one again . So 10/10 loved by my cat. So definitely pros and cons. The feather screws off so I plan to see if other want toys screw on but haven't tried yet .

This is my cat's absolute favorite toy. All I have to do is look at it for her to get excited and start getting zoomies. She's very aggressive with her toys, and has torn out a few of the feathers, but most of them have stayed in place despite her chewing on them all the time. Definitely recommend for any cat who loves feather toys

He absolutely loves it. Unlike some feather wands, this one isn't easily detached when he's pulling it. Actually has lost one pound since he received it for Christmas. Just prefers this over his other wand toys.

My picky tomcat immediately began playing with this more than any other toy in his toybox. He has his morning ritual: FEED ME NOW!, then treats, then brushing, then interactive toy(s) or petting on my.lap. Totally spoiled.

The wand handle is plastic and telescoping, so it keeps your fingers away from kittens who decide to go after the tip swinging the feathers instead of the feathers themselves! The cord material has held up well to sharp kitten teeth who like to chew on everything, including the cord. The feathers are large, which would simulate the approximate size of a bird. My timid kitten is less comfortable going after rhe feathers (it is almost as big as she is), but she has no prohibitions against the (original wand toy- same exact wand, just denuded of feathers!) which is about the size of a large bee. The kittens love it when they can drag their "captured prey" off to a corner away from the others to chew on the wand! If you want the feathers to last longer on the end (the cats will chew on them if you let them, and their teeth are stronger than the feather shafts, so...), keep the wand up off the floor and inaccessible to them when you are not playing with the wand. The only downside is that there are no replacement toys for this style wand (even though it the toy end is removable as well as the tip of the wand to replace the rope if needed), but due to the inexpensive price it was more affordable to replace the entire wand than to buy generic replacement toys and make a hook to attach them to the rope. So, yes, I would recommend this toy

The cutieCats loved this toy!! I agree with the other reviews that the end tassel with the feathers is quite fragile. Bummer. The feathers came out very easily with an average play session. Luckily, the chain never broke on ours, but the feathers fell out like they were attached with the motivation of myself at 4pm on a Friday afternoon. It ain't holding on long! However, they loved it so much I might have to buy another...

Great toy, my cat loves this wand! I like that it's a string and not that plastic wire that other rods have so the feather moves more easily. The only issue is that it's a little short compared to other rods, but I still prefer this one if I'm sitting down.

this the other one only toy cat likes, so I bought a replacement, when I opened the package from FedExI got o, I compared it to her old one and noticed it had no feather her old one is in better condition than this one. it will be going back to the store. It's a great toy and she loves it, but I'm only giving the one star because of the poor condition.
