Vibrant Life Jute Cat Scratching Post with Built-In Arch Massager, Gray, 17"

This is my second time purchasing one of these. It is “purrrfect” for kittens! It's small enough that the babies can play with it until they're big. My last kitten was obsessed and ended up, tearing it to shreds over many months, so I got a new one for the next set.

This is meant for kittens or mini cats, not the fat ones I bought it for LOL they knocked it over every time they tried to use it in the beginning. So keep that in mind if you have 10lb chunkers like me. 5 stars because I have 3 other cats/kitten that are small enough it works for them. Overall it's held up nicely since I bought it a few months ago and I do recommend.

There are 2cats in the house. one wants nothing to do with it and the younger one Loves it. She li k es taking her frustrations out on it. She destroyed the one before.

Very nice. Cats like it. The only bad thing is the longer screw on the bottom of the scratching post is where the hammock actually sits on. They had the posts reversed when they labeled it for the directions. Looks exactly like the pic.

the instructions are in great and a few of the holes were not drilled all the way through the fabric so I had to cut the fabric and the threads on the base weren't the right size to adhere the pole part. the item itself is a lot smaller than pictured.

The product didn't hold up to my cat's activity. The small ball on the end of the elastic line ripped open, then the fabric covering on the bottom half of the post came off. I will say my cat loved playing with the product for the length of time it stayed together.

It was difficult to put together. There were no holes in the carpet pieces to put the screws through. Instructions warned not to put on hardwood floors because the bottom screw will scratch the floor. Why didn't the manufacturer correct that?

Might be big enough and sturdy enough for a tiny kitten but not a full grown cat at all. Its size is almost hilarious. Also if you think particle board is bad…this is made out of CARDBOARD!

Much smaller than expected, and I'll be lucky not to mess the thing up assembling it by drilling a hole into the carpet that is supposed to fix to the base.

"When the product arrived there were actually less than half of the pieces missing and half the hardware - how ""appropriate"" to have half of everything. I've shopped in store at Walmart for 25 years and on-line a few times in the past two years. So so disappointed in Walmart in this experience."
