Smash Kitchen Classic Sea Salt Non-GMO Kettle Chips, 6 oz

I am always on the hunt for natural ingredient potato chips. I have recently bought Siete and Boulder, both brands were great for the first several bags. Then I read that PepsiCo bought Siete :( Nothing good can come from that! And, it seemed the Siete regular potato chip changed over time. Could it be that Pepsi is using a lesser quality of oil to fry the chips?.... So the hunt began again. I saw that Wal-Mart carried a non-GMO potato chip from Smash Kitchen. I gave them a try and like them! These chips are not overly salty which is fine by me, they have a healthy crunch and ONLY THREE INGREDIENTS! And Smash Kitchen company is not a food conglomerate. I will definitely buy again!

These are very crispy and better than the average chip. Tasty and a family favorite.

The Walmart.com picture of the label says 0g of carbs. I bought them for my husband who is on a low carb diet. When we got them, the label on the bag says 17g (which sounds much more realistic). I wasn’t sure how they’d be 0 carbs but was excited to try them. That was disappointing. Otherwise, they are so good! Some of the better kettle cooked chips I’ve had. I’d buy them again but no good if you’re looking for low carb.

I’m absolutely in love with the kettle cooked chips the texture is very crispy and thick as what you’d expect from Kettle chips, the freshness is on point, and ingredients are simply 3 things (chips, oil and salt) no chemicals added which is the cherry on top but what truly stood out to me the level of saltiness they absolutely prevail in comparison to other brands, it’s low sodium compared to Hal’s or any other brand in the same category! The only thing I didn’t like was as soon as I opened the bag at least 35-40 percent of the bag was filled with air and the chips was almost at the half bottom which was a bummer considering as a consumer I’d like my chips to be filled all the way up for least 80-90 percent of the full bag
