I’ve been switching from all American delicious but toxic foods to all natural foods including BBQ sauce. The first all natural BBQ sauce I tried didn’t taste so good but this one was great from the very first bite, a real smoky delicious flavor without the chemical additives.
this is pleasantly surprising! I'm always nervous to try new BBQ sauces because I'm EXTREMELY averse to anything spicy. I'm so glad I tried this one! it's PERFECT. No artificial sweeteners or dyes, not spicy at all, smooth smoky flavor, I LOVE THIS STUFF!!
The BEST BBQ sauce out there!! I usually purchase a cheap sauce but made the mistake of trying this "just once". Now I'm addicted!! It's the best replacement BBQ sauce for my late son's unbeatable secret recipe. This is the only brand I'll buy now!!
Taste like excellent bbq sauce to me. I had it on some burgers and used it as a dipping sauce for chivken nuggets. A nice balance of sweet %26 spicy. You can taste the quality ingredients . I will purchase again. And next time try I will use it on the grill.
There are a lot of barbecues out there and I believe this is one of the good ones. It’s sweet and not too spicy BBQ sauce for me and my family. I’ve tried the spicy version of this, and it has a little bit of a kick. Glen Powell this part owner. They have other items that now I’m interested in trying.
I picked up Smash Kitchen American Style Barbecue Sauce on a whim during a grocery run, and I’m so glad I did! This sauce is seriously good—definitely one of the best store-bought BBQ sauces I’ve ever tried. The flavor is exactly what I want in a barbecue sauce: rich, smoky, and slightly sweet with a tangy kick that doesn’t overpower. It’s got a great balance—nothing artificial or overly sugary like some other brands. You can actually taste the quality. It has depth, like something you'd expect from a backyard smokehouse or homemade batch, not a bottle off the shelf. I’ve used it on grilled chicken, burgers, and even as a dip for fries and roasted veggies. It clings beautifully when brushed onto meat during grilling—caramelizes just right without burning. Also, I love that the ingredients are cleaner than most big-name sauces. No weird aftertaste, no high fructose corn syrup, and it's not loaded with salt. Honestly, Smash Kitchen knocked it out of the park with this one. If you're into BBQ or just want a versatile, flavorful sauce to elevate your meals, give this a try. It’s become a pantry staple in my house!
This BBQ sauce is hands down probably the best sauce Smash Kitchen makes. We originally grabbed it to try, and now we use it for everything wings, pizza, dipping sauce, you name it. The flavor is just really solid. Good balance without tasting overly processed or fake, and we appreciate the cleaner ingredients compared to a lot of sauces out there. Definitely one of those things we try not to run out of in our house. Only downside is it's a little pricey for the bottle size, but the taste is so good it's worth it
I really like the flavor of this sauce, but the consistency is too thin. It doesn't stick to the food you're grilling very well. I've made chicken and pork chops and the sauce slid off both. I like the fact it's organic ingredients. The price is a bit higher than most BBQ sauce in the store, but that didn't affect my decision to purchase. Make the consistency thicker and you'd have a winner!
The reviews really point to this being a very good product but this is the third smash product I have tried and while I certainly like the ingredients that these items are comprised of, I have yet to find one that I really like. To me the barbecue sauce is just a slightly fancy ketchup as far as flavor goes. It’s OK but for the price I would not buy it again. I also tried the ketchup and the mayo. The mayo was a gelatinous mess and was absolutely disgusting and the ketchup is OK but very sweet.
Really strong tomato flavor. More of a molasses/brown sugar flavor than honey. Not overly spicy. Expected more heat, more upfront honey flavor, and less tomato. If it were a bit cheaper, then it would be ideal for meatloaf. Really more of a glaze or dipping sauce than something I'd use as a marinade.
