I ordered two jars for my sister who lives in North Carolina as she can't find the large sized jars of preserves (her favorite) there - only the jam. I have encountered this same problem here in New York City. What gives? Thank goodness I was able to find it online. She loves this stuff so much it may not last her for the next couple of months.
For my brother's 70th birthday, I ordered a jar of Smuckers Strawberry Preserves with a picture of my brother's face on the label. I had uploaded a picture of him to put on the label when I placed my order, but wasn't sure how clear the image would be when put on the Smuckers label. The jar arrived two days later and the picture of him was perfectly clear! Great job and quick turnaround!
Bought over one dozen with various pictures, made a GRTEAT gift, this will be a a gift idea for years, I seen these on the TODAT SHOW, i didn't realize it was available to the public, so when i called Smuckers and they said yes, man i was a happy clam!!!!, my family loved it with my 96 yr old mom, my Nephews 15th wedding anniversary and others,
For decades I have loved strawberries and have topped many a double-scoopful of vanilla ice cream with Smucker's Strawberry Preserves. More than any jam, I love the tasty chunks of real strawberries in the product and delightfully put a spoonful on each slice of hot buttered toast. Some weekday mornings, I eat a spoonful straight from the pretty jar -- that gives me just the right, natural sweet burst of energy that I need to get going and to stay alert at work. Best of all, Smucker's Strawberry Preserves is an important part of my life because seeing the jar in my fridge and eating the preserves reminds me of my childhood days.
I purchased the Smucker's Preserves for my mom's 100th and 101st birthdays. The process was so simple and delivery was quick. Everyone loved them and my mom's image looked great. My mom has had Smucker's Preserves on her toast as long as I can remember and the personalized bottles of strawberry and raspberry preserves was a complete breakfast surprise. Thank you for making this item available for important celebrations.
Smucker's say they have to be the best with a name like Smucker's. They don't disappoint! I and my family always look to these strawberry preserves because in over 60 years we've never been disappointed. The strawberry preserves have real strawberries in them. It's not overpowering sweet. Nor is it lacking in flavor. If you don't want to make your own preserves then get these.
Strawberry preserves used to have actual pieces and the overall consistency was thick. Now I have to use a spoon to dip it out of the jar because it falls off of a butter knife. I've eaten Smuckers Strawberry Preserves for more than 60 years, but when I finish this jar it will be my last.
Bought this a month ago. Two months prior Bought strawberry preserve like I've done for years. Threw 2 jars away thought they were bad. Something weird about the taste. Here again 3rd jar same issue. Weird aftertaste. I buy about 6 jars or more a year. It's definitely not the same.
I'm very disappointed...in the past, I have bought preserves because of the bits of cooked strawberries in the preserves as these other reviews mention since childhood. I have gone through 2 jars recently and the product has ceased to have these bits of strawberries in the preserves. Might as well call this jelly or jam. Has Smucker's changed their recipe to save money?
I purchased 2 jars of your strawberry preserves about a week ago. I immediately noticed a difference in the taste and it wasn't good. I actually thought it was made with rotten strawberries, until I read several other reviews that supported my thought. Not sure who made the decision to make these changes, but he/she needs to be terminated.
