Pricey, but helps with insulin resistance.
Being a type 2 diabetic, real pasta is a no-go for me. These make me not miss the pasta. Unfortunately it is incredibly expensive. You really need 2 packs to make a proper serving. If you can get it on sale and you're looking for a pasta alternative that won't spike your blood sugar, this is the ticket for sure. I really do enjoy it. I dump it into a colander and rinse it, then I pop it in a pan with some butter or gee and a bit of salt, and give it some heat to dry it out a little before I add it to my sauce. I find it a great rice substitute for gumbo, e'touffee, and red beans too. So if you're borderline, diabetic, or insulin resistant in any way, give this a try.
