I've used Softsoap hand soap for a long time, and while I usually keep the larger refill bottles around the house, I occasionally like having these smaller ready-to-use pump bottles for convenience. The pump top makes dispensing simple, and the overall ease of use is especially nice for bathrooms or kitchens where you just want something quick and easy to place by the sink without needing to refill anything right away. This Lavender %26 Shea version has a softer and more calming fragrance compared to some other varieties. The smell leans more floral because of the lavender, but it stays fairly light and not overly strong. I also noticed the formula itself feels richer and creamier than the antibacterial versions I normally use. It has a more moisturizing feel while still lathering well and thoroughly cleansing my hands. The soap is pH balanced and seems designed to clean without leaving my skin feeling stripped or overly dry afterward. The texture has a smooth, almost lotion-like quality that adds a little extra softness during hand washing, and it seems like it could work well for people who prefer a more gentle hand soap formula. Although the bottle only contains 11.25 fluid ounces, a little goes a long way, so it still lasts quite a while in our house with regular daily use from multiple people. The container itself also feels sturdy enough that it could either be recycled after use or reused and refilled several times. I also like the appearance of this one. The clear bottle combined with the subtle purple tint of the soap gives it a decorative look without being too bold, especially if you already have lavender or purple accents in a bathroom or kitchen. While I personally feel the larger refill bottles stretch further overall, this smaller format still feels practical because of the moisturizing formula, relaxing scent, and easy pump dispenser.

I like using Softsoap because it doesn't dry out my hands. I bought the lavender scented one because I thought it would look nice in my bathroom. It looks nice and smells great. This is a great product I will continue to buy.

I like the shape and style of the bottle. The price is right, and the scent is pleasant. However, this is not a luxury soap, and if you are prone to dry skin, consider using a lotion after using this soap.
