Man I had no idea I would love this thing so much. It is GREAT if you're a gardener. I Mean sure, it may not be able to give you extremely accurate numbers for the Ph and soil moisture, or light quantity BUT... you don't have to re-calibrate this thing like those other ones!! You can just keep right on gardening, baby! Yeah! I mean, you *do* have to let this one sit there for a good 30 seconds to get a good reading, so it's not instant results, but it's just an awesome tool for any gardener. It uses a 9 volt battery. I actually like seeing something that uses 9 volt batteries. Kind of nostalgic for the 70's with them 9 volt batteries lol.

I finally have plants in my new house and this is the first thing I bought as sticking a finger in the soil isn't the best way of testing the dampness of the soil. Nor is it any help for checking the light although I guess you could see if your hand casts a shadow 😂

works great. Does what it said it would do. I would recommend it if you need a plant soil tester.

This was a very good meter with clear results on screen but the problem I had with it was the battery compartment cover would not stay closed and fell off with each time I use it. very disappointing

This thing shows dry even if you put it in water so the moisture part sucks. The temp seems off its pretty much useless do not buy! chinese garbage the ph tester i can not trust also it was bent when i recieved it seller sells junk obviously

this is the second time I have ordered a pH meter from Walmart and both of them did not work because they were bent

says the soild is dry even when its soaking wet.
