Superb TV, one of the best for the price!

Ryan B June 17, 2021

Absolutely fantastic service from Beach Camera!! Tv arrived in perfect condition. As a tv, this Sony model (I got the 75" X950H) is absolutely fantastic for the features. It can go toe-to-toe with OLED when considering how bright this tv can get. Black levels are superb; very little blooming and extremely good color reproduction. For the price, there really isn't a better TV.

An absolute unit! Perfection in tv form!

Big Ryan June 17, 2021

Absolutely fantastic tv for the price. Honestly depending on your usage, it goes toe-to-toe with OLED considering the sheer brightness of the panel. It has a fantastic color range, and it really pulls you into the picture like I have rarely seen in contemporary models. An absolute unit! #sweepstakes

Unbelievable Colour

Corvette5 October 8, 2020

Bought the 85" to watch sports as we are usually Snowbirds, but not this winter. I had The Geek Squad come out and do install. After a month, they return to reset the colour balance, super true colours now. Every tech commented on the quality that a Sony produces, and you get what you pay for in the end. Before the setup colours were very bright and crisp, not natural, and had a slight bluish colour to shadows. Lakes were more a blue, than our natural green for our mountain lakes. Clear at any distance from the screen, GREAT!

Sony X950H Fabulous buy

Zogman August 20, 2020

This SONY Bravia X950H replaces my 12 year old SONY Bravia that kicked the bucket. It was one of the first HD models back in 2008. It’s more expensive than the Samsung, LG and other popular models, but has many more options plus WIFi. The new X950H was very easy to set up on my TV bracket since the bracket was one the old TV was on and had nice extensions for the screws to use on the bracket. It lined up beautifully. The TV was lighter than the old one but solid! Setup was easy to get started and connected to my amp. Menus make sense. The only problem I have is when the home menu is up, it is tough to take it off the screen with simply pressing exit.

Great picture quality

Lj71 April 6, 2021

We purchased our tv several weeks ago and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The colors are exceptional and the viewing area is really great since our old one was a 42”. Only thing about the Sony is the volume has to be cranked up a bit more than the old LG. All in all we are very pleased with our purchase.

GREAT PICTURE

jnash May 26, 2021

I'm replacing an OLED and this thing, honestly isn't as good, but it is very very close!! I love the google assistant and the picture settings right out of the box are great. I do play video games and while not having all the new gaming features it still performs pretty well

The best I have seen.

levis383 July 5, 2022

After watching this tv for a few months, it was time to make adjustments. When making the picture adjustments, this tv really came alive. Every detail is fantastic, it is hard for some of my friends to believe the picture on an 85 inch tv. Sony makes the best.

Great picture and sound but be careful with stand

Gtctstorm53 February 6, 2021

The TV is top quality. The apps can be a bit moody but a reset will fix that. Today I was trying to put a cable in the back and it tipped forward and I broke the panel. The stand is not good. It wobbles and the set is top heavy so mount it on a wall or make sure you secure it. I am out a lot of money for one mistake.

A Blessing and a Curse

dk52 December 22, 2020

The picture is great and the TV sound is above average, but unless you buy a Sony approved sound bar beware! The setup between the TV and my sound bar took me a month of frustration and it may never sync perfectly with the TV. So far the TV lives up to expectations. May review again in 6months to see if I have figured out the sound issues.

Bright amber LED cannot be turned off

Vernor March 11, 2021

The TV is okay, but a single annoying detail ruins the whole user experience. When "OK Google" is disabled, the bright amber LED stays permanently on, which is especially irritating when watching TV in a dark room (see the picture attached). The LED cannot be disabled with the dedicated control in the menu: Settings - Device Preferences - LED indicator - Built-in MIC LED - Off. It's a bug to me, but not to the Sony engineers. They believe that Google needs to be always listening. Otherwise, the user must be punished with a bright warning light. Cannot recommend the product to anyone, but truly devoted Google fans.
