Sony FE 50mm F1.8 Lens & SanDisk 64GB SD Card

Older tech focus motor is a bit noisy and a tad sluggish compared to some of Sony's speedier lenses, but it is not that bad in either regard. But... Sharp on center. Great bokeh. Thin DOF. Great colors. Exactly what I expect from a nifty fifty.

I had the 55mm 1.8 Zeiss Lens and for the price point of that lens I was able to get two other lens with one being the 50mm 1.8 FE by Sony. I really could not tell a difference between the two unless under microscopic examination and that was with aberration and even then I was hard pressed to tell a difference. Otherwise, I recommend the 50mm for the price point.

A fast prime lens is the greatest single addition you can add to your Sony A7 camera bag. This lens will allow you to should with shallow depth-of-field to obtain nice soft backgrounds that help delineate your subject. Essential for available light photography. Love this lens with manual focus assist to nail sharpness in the important details. A bargain!

Purchased this for a wedding and had a great time, in my opinion did better than Sigma 28-70mm for most photos.

Because of its 1.8 aperture, this low end prime lens renders the best quality colours when shooting in daylight conditions.

Coming from both Nikon/Canon and being that the 50mm f1.8 is the work horse of my work, I can honestly say this is the highest quality first party models I have ever used.

I use this lens on my Sony a7R Mark II and I love it, it's a Full Frame Lens with a nice clarity that produces great pictures. At F1.8, this lens is capable of taking good images in low light conditions and also produces a lovely background blur when taking pictures at full aperture, especially on portraits. This lens is also great for video, it has a "low breath" when focusing, it's not fast, at least on my a7RII, but it will do the work, with almost zero out-of-focus images when doing a high fps shooting.

I just started learning photography, and I am loving this. Plus the advantage of using am APS-C camera, it was good for portraits and even street captures.

The images are decent in the sun. Even with a F1.8 aperture this lens does so poorly in low light. Images are soft and not sharp indoors. Using this with an a6700. My canon rf 50mm attached to a Canon R7 was exceptional. It locked on instantly and took super sharp pictures. Skip this 50 and get something better. No OSS either.
