I am Very big Fan of Sony, from very beginning I used to Buy Sony TV. and Sound system, in Television no one can Beat Sony, There Color Quality and Bright ness.

Definitely an upgrade over the built-in TV speakers. While it's not surround sound, I still feel more immersed in the shows/movies now thanks to this setup. Would recommend

Very Solid Buy
There were only 25 reviews for this unit compared to hundreds the for the more popular buys, but every review for the Sony was 5 stars and had glowing comments. We had an optical cable already plugged into the tv so I only had to plug in the power and optical input. Once powered on, before I could even read the instructions, the subwoofer connected itself to the sound bar. That's all I did and from that moment on we had excellent sound. Of note, the sound effects and tone controls really work to provide a real difference when activated. No complaints after 3 weeks. When is comes to trusted names in electronics i'll go with Sony over onn. or Visio any day. Also this unit sounds better than the Bose soundbar I purchased from the same price range. Buy with confidence.

It works really well. It is definitely an upgrade from a tv sound. If you can get it with a lot of discount get it for sure.

This is the best sound bar and bass booster I have ever bought...the bass is insane!!

It's wonderful sound and powerful woofers. soundbar for HT-SD40 it supposed to be 41 in, but only 35.5 in. That was I received, I expected to be 41 in. That was I paid for.
