Great game, but over quickly.
My son and I really enjoyed paying through this together, but the game-play in story mode was over all-too quickly. I know there's more to Little Big Planet (such as creating games and the community content), but it seemed as if we were just getting started -- collecting all the characters and figuring out what they could do -- and then the game was over. If you don't plan on playing the community content or building your own levels, then save your money and just rent it for a weekend.

Don't buy this game if you love your family
This game is a complete let down from the rest of the series. Media Molecule was not the developer this time and it shows. The game might be fine for a single player experience, or if you want to see an eight year old rage quit. Otherwise, don't buy this game. The game appears completely untested for multiplayer, which is kind of what LBP is all about. Level design is awful, the camera always seems to follow the wrong person causing everyone to end up dead, and you can often find your self stuck in a wall or other geometry of the game with no way to get out. Last but not least, there is about an hour of downloads right out of the box the typical install, and the game still has horrible load times. If you love your family don't buy this game. Try to find a copy of LBP2 or replay it if you already own it.
