Super Mario Maker Nintendo Nintendo Wii U 045496903756

My nine year old son, who loves video games, received this as an early Christmas gift. Played with it for several hours . Says he loves it! I'm not a fan of children playing video games for a long period of time , but this one was interesting because he had to think about how he was going to make and set up each game he was making ...

Very fun game. The game allows the player to be creative by inventing new and fun challenges. My boys opened it on Christmas morning, and they have been having a lot of fun playing it since then. I have been hearing the uncontrolled laughter of a seven-year-old and a ten-year-old coming from the game room all day! This game is enhanced with the compatible Amiibo characters.

From my son's perspective (my only basis for the review) Super Mario Maker is an excellent video game. So far he has been able to design challenging custom levels (courses?) for Super Mario Bros. and tested it out before uploading it for others to try. Now if only I can get him to show as much focus and determination with his homework!

I've loved Mario since I was a little kid and played it on the Nintendo 64. My 6 year old son has become a Mario fan as well (he was Mario for Halloween). When he saw this game he just had to have it. Being that I love Mario too, I purchased it for him. This game is so fun! We love that you can make levels for each other and then play them. My 4 year old plays this game as well and it's easy enough for him to figure out. This is a great family game and I highly recommend it. I cannot saying anything negative about this game. I love it all!

I picked this game up when it came out in November 2015 and have been filming it for Nintendo Thumb ever since. Since then I've created a youtube channel based on Super Mario Maker with over 1500 videos of it and the various levels. The game is jam packed full of an endless stream of fun, and non stop exploration and challenges, and stories, art, music, rube goldberg devices, minigames, and much much more. If you're like me and played through the old Super Mario games and always wanted more, the second the credits start to roll, this is the game for you. There are more levels here than you could ever play, or be aware of ever. Anyone who has a Wii U owes it to themselves to get this game, and anyone who doesn't have a Wii U should get one just for this.

Super Mario Maker takes everything you love about the classic Mario series, and lets you build levels the way you want them. If building is not your style, you can find levels that others have built for an infinite number of fun and frustrating play throughs. If you've enjoyed any Mario game, you'll enjoy this one.

I was already looking to purchase this game for my nephew, Walmart just made it easier. Shop online, pick it up at my local Walmart store...love it....interface is user friendly and checkout was easy/fast. As far as the game, if you like Mario, then you will want this game. Two thumbs up to Nintendo!!!

[Employee of walmartcanada] I have a 10, 8, and 5 year old mix of boys and a girl and they all LOVE this game and the silly things they can make and do. It keeps them busy and prompts a lot of "hey mom, come see this!" while they attempt to create a challenging course that they can submit online to have others try it, and at the same time try the courses that others have made.

Hours of creativity. Our 12yo is actually enjoying a game we played when we were young. If you were a fan of the original Mario Brothers game you will love this too.

I bought this a month ago and my son really wanted it after seeing videos online about it. My son is 9 and he said it's really boring and not what he thought it would be like. It's a really expensive game, like most games are now but those games are usually good games that provide lots of entertainment and in the last month if him having it. He has only played it twice. Very disappointed in this purchase and the cost
