Sony PlayStation VR Gran Turismo Sport and Camera Bundle, 3002810

The Playstation VR is amazing! A new and very immersive way to play video games. Very affordable and it has a lot of good games available. Highly recommended for anybody who owns a PS4. Fantastic piece of technology! Two thumbs up!

This is an awesome experience . It brings your gaming to a whole new level. It is a process with multiple cords for hooking it up. But the instructions aren't difficult to follow. With just a little patience you will be on your way to a new world. Bought for a child however the adults can't get enough of it. This was on sale when I purchased but would not have been mad to pay full price for this experience!

I was very skeptical about VR until I tried this out! Once you play some of the VR games(Especially Star Wars!!!), I was convinced! I really like it! So many great demos to try. Plus, if you have any 3D blurays, you can watch them in 3D without even having a 3D player! Awesome!

For me, the $299 pricetag was the defining feature. I wanted to add VR to my PS4, but the cost of $450 and up was an impediment to it. But being able to purchase the VR Headset, the camera, and a great game like Turismo for $299, it gave me the option to buy the core of the system now and add the set of two Move Controllers at a later time...another paycheck. If you can drop 400 or 500 bucks and get all the pieces at once,more power to you. But if you are like me and actually pay bills before you embark on recreational buys, then this is your entry point into PS4 VR. You get the helmet,the camera, all the cables, and Turismo for under $300!!! All you need are two controllers priced at 40-50 bucks each, your PS4, and games of your liking. So for those of us who have to get half now, the rest later, this is the main two-thirds of the VR hardware at a great price! Go for it! By the way, HSN was selling ONLY helmet and camera last night (Dec. 4, 2017) for $449.00!!! So there is one comparison price. See you in VR!!!!!

I love the way it looks when you put them on but serting games like the grand turismo are not all that I would recommend downloading the Demo and checking it out first my opinion.

It is a very good buy for the cost (was 200 when I bought it). However I do recommend buying a model with the PS Move controllers. A good portion of the games require you have them. Gran Turismo doesn't need them so if that's all you wanted to play then you're all set. PSVR is easy to setup and works great. For its asking price, PSVR is the best entry level VR experience for gaming. Due to the limited power of the PS4 games like GT Sport and RE7 do take a graphical hit. I personally don't mind but it may be a deal breaker for some.

I also own an HTC Vive which as of right now is the number one VR system available. It cost $899. The PSVR is really close to the immersiveness of the Vive without spending the cash. Not only does the vice cost $899 but the PC to run it at a minimum was $1k. The scale of immersion in the PSVR is smaller than the Vive. The view in the PSVR is better than the Vive because there is no fresnel lease effect. It's like there is nothing between you eyes and the VR world. The fit of the headset with the PSVR is better, but the tough quality feel isn't quite the same as the Vive, but it is great for the price. PSVR has polished games made by professionals. The Vive has a lot of free indie experiences. Just depends on how much you want to spend. Both are a lot of fun!
