Sony STR-DH590 5.2 Multi-Channel 4K HDR AV Receiver with Bluetooth

I bought this receiver a month ago and it has plenty of features and power. The only thing I wish it had would be bass and tremble knobs on the front panel instead of the tv display to make your adjusts but it's no deal breaker for the price.

It replaced a 25-year-old receiver, so I may be biased a little here. The sound is much cleaner . For the price, especially at Walmart, you can't beat this unit.

This is a great receiver at a great price in deed! Full of features and premium connection such as eARC (which other in the same range do not have it), and the setup is really easy to do and very professional. Sound is aout of the question, it is simply amazing!

Receiver has many better features than I expected.

Just bought this the day before cuz my Pioneer receiver just quit working. But it was 15 years or so old. Getting this Sony receiver hooked up and so far it sounds pretty good. Still have to get the tv paired with it

Purchased this to compliment my new Sony Bravis OLED tv. Very easy to connect all my other components to it. Still learning how to use it but so far so good. Only negative thing I have to say about this is the FM antenna which is a single thin flimsy wire which plugs into the back of the receiver. While it does pick up some local stations the reception for most other stations in the area is poor. Sony should offer other options to improve its poor reception. As the antenna plug is extremely small there are no after market options out there.

I've had my unit for about a year now and everything was great until yesterday. My receiver would go into protection mode and turn off. I've tried all the fixes in the trouble shooting guide and now I hope I get my receiver repaired or warranty from what I understand covers my units issue. That has been the only problem so far. For the money it's still worth the $$$. The should quality is very crisp and clean. I'm running all Sony tower speakers for surround center Sony and sub. I'm giving 4 stars because its a newer unit with newer technology but shouldn't break in less than a year. I had an old Kenwood 5.1 system for 28 years never a glitch. I think Sony quality should be better than that but electronics can have issue's.

I purchase this fto connect with my 75” sony ty. When you turn off tv the reciever turns back on sometimes. you turn back off and it turns back on

I received only one Speaker which is Center Speaker. Rear Right Speaker and Rear Left Speaker are missing in the package. There is only one piece (one Speaker) inside the package. When I purchased, I checked Specifications and More details. There are 3 Speakers and 3 Pieces count. That's why I purchased those Items. I checked carefully these Items at Walwart and Amazon. One Speaker is less price than $179.95. In my Purchase, there are 3 Speakers (3 Pieces count). That's why I want the Rear Right Speaker and Rear Left Speaker which are missing in the package.
