runs android auto using google maps. greatly improved sound quality over factory toyota audio (2001 Camry). I had to fabricate the wire harness by marrying the toyota harness w/ the sony harness. My first attempt was a success, but I would suggest getting the wire diagrams for both (toyota/sony) off the internet to facilitate matching wires. Or have the installation done professionally.

This car stereo deck really rocks i didn't even need a amp for my aftermarket speakers it had good settings for amp & subwoofer and highs.android auto works flawless.

Installation straightforward in my 2014 Suburban. Good sound quality. Nice to have android auto now. Installed with GM29 wiring harness and CR10 antenna adaptor. FYI - not every USB cord will work for AA, need one designed for data transfer.

For the money you can't beat it. If you have an old car with a crappy radio like me (2014 Forester) and you want to add a touch screen and android auto this Sony will be a great option. It's a name brand and inexpensive. It's not wireless CarPlay and it doesn't have HD radio either but you'll pay over $500 for those features elsewhere.

Easy to Install, matched all the wire colors. The only wire I did not use was the green for the parking brake, I just sealed it off and tucked it away in the back. I just got it for the radio %26 back-up camera. If I had 1 Negative it would be that stupid SAFETY message that stays on the screen every single time you start the ignition, it does go away after a few seconds or you can clear it, but it's super annoying, I mean how many times do we need to see the exact same message?

Bought this radio to replace a factor ford radio and works great . The grandson is happy with the product

other accessories are needed for the installation but overall satisfied with the product even though I have not heard it yet

Installed in my 04 envoy and the sound is amazing. I also added Sony speakers with the radio and what a difference. I highly recommend this radio apple play works great and touch screen is awesome. Can't go wrong with this unit.

Very responsive and fast. I've never had any issues with the touchscreen lagging however, I've had it look weird and glitchy after about an hour long drive with my phone plugged in using CarPlay but unplugging and plugging back in seems to fix this. Installation was easy and it comes with steering wheel controls, but you need to make sure you have the correct harness for your car. I love how it has physical buttons for volume up and down and fast-forward and rewind. It also has a Home button and quick Settings button, so you can dim the screen completely with two clicks. Really the only issue I've had is sometimes when you connect the wire for CarPlay it will beep three times and say USB not supported. If you leave it plugged in, it'll usually work but unplugging and plugging back Will fix it. I have an iPhone 15 and a Subaru Forester 2015.

DO NOT BUY!! I was dumb and disregarded some of the issues that other people said they have with this product. I'm only had this radio for three months and it crapped out. And even though it was within manufacture warranty Sony did nothing for me. Thankfully, I bought the Allstate protection plan and Allstate reimburse me. I've had nothing but issues with this radio since the day I bought it. You could buy a much nicer radio for the same amount. Get an Alpine.
