I purchased the ZV-1F knowing that the camera was tailored for content creators and vloggers. However, as a hobbyist myself, I want my hands to be free from heavy gear during my vacations, however I want a camera that is pocketable, readily usable without too much fiddling, will complement with my smart devices, and has a few extra features especially with video and color grading (if you suddenly need it). The ZV-1F ticks all of these boxes. This camera is travel-friendly as it utilizes a prime 20mm lens that has an f/2.0 aperture. It is good for wide scenery landscapes, group-style portraits, night and lowlight shots, and video. One quirk is that the sensor uses a contrast-detect AF system only. Although it performs really well and is snappy, the reliability of the hybrid CDAF/PDAF system would have been nice to have. Pros: - Ease of use - Pocketable and portable - Lens / Aperture / Sensor-size combination is superb for its form factor - SLOG2/SLOG3 and HLG profiles are available - Price point Cons: - JPEG only, no RAW - No mechanical shutter and optical in-body stabilization / optical steady shot - Cold shoe only, no MI - 425-pt contrast-detect autofocus system only, no phase-detect
We love the camera. It is so clear, my daughter loves it
Exactly what my wife wanted! Cleaning kit is a huge
Nice quality
This is not what I wanted. It is was too small essentially a toy!
