Number one , it only took 45 minutes for it to show full charge . Paired with my Janky cellphone easily . Im not overly huge on full bass so i tweaked the custom Eq settings on the App %26 put on some Alice in Chains %26 it was awesome sounding , i could hear the highs , mids %26 lows perfectly , voice was perfect , no rattling , no distortion even at 80 - 90 % of volume . I'm amazed at how good this sounds . Honestly didn't expect it to be so Awesome .
Bought this for a friend and immediately went out and purchased it for myself. For the price I don't know if you can beat it. It sounds really good and the large fixed handle means it comes everywhere with me. The yard, the garage, the lake, it's there. I didn't have to charge it the first week I owned it while using it daily also. No complaints!
Excellent speaker. Small enough to be portable and punches well above what you would think given its size. I use mine without the BassUp turned on and it still sounds great. Soundcore has an app you can use that gives you loads of options for customizing your experience with the speaker as well. I got mine for $84 shipped on sale and its a steal at that price. Overall I'm super impressed with this speaker and wish I would have tried it sooner.
Great bass, nice and loud. Sounds great with every genre of music from metal to industrial to country and even bachata. I like that it looks like an old school boombox. This will be great for some poolside tunes in the summer.
great bang for the buck, caught this on sale $85 bought 3. Excellent sound paired 2 in tws love it light weight watetproof. Upgrade from skullcandy boombox.
Sounds good with a solid base. Easy to pair with devices and easy to link with other Anker speakers. Holds a good charge, haven't had one die on me yet. Worth the money at full price but better for the sale price.
absolutely love this speaker compared to the soundcore boom 2 se this one is worth the extra amount. the bass on the soundcore boom 2 is absolutely astonishing for the size it surely doesnt dissapoint. infact ive purchased a second one to have them paired together. i also picked up a third to give as a gift blows some of the other big name high priced speakers away no competition.
Loud and easy to carry, I play music in the hallway and the base makes a big difference, other teachers want to buy it too. Battery last for a looong time
If the unit I received is not defective, then do not buy this product! The base sound is totally distorted. Even at low volumes put on a song with heavy bass and it sounds so distorted that is laughable. Do not buy this product. It sucks-at least the unit I got.! !
Bought two of these on sale for the price of one Charge 6. Speech quality and instrument crispness is better on the Charge 6, but I returned it as these Boom 2's fill my warehouse with plenty of thump that I didn't know I was missing with my two Charge 5's. One of them vibrated its self off of the place where I kept one of the Charge 5's (about 1.5 meters off of the ground). It's a little scuffed but still works, just had to relocate it. An important point to make is the party connection for the two units worked fine with a distance of I'd guess around 50 to 60 ft (15m to 18m). Stereo mode works fine and works well when needed but for my use they stay in party mode. When people are speaking it is a little muffled but I set my Equalizer up in a V with high bass and high treble. You can easily fix that with the 9 band equalizer on the user friendly Soundcore app or just turn off the Bass Boost. The light show is nice, when the lights are out...but that doesn't happen in my work environment so I turn the lights off for longer battery life. One of my Charge 5's were stolen and I needed surround sound, these were a great replacement for the price!
