South Shore Step One 1-Drawer Nightstand - End Table with Storage White

So we purchased the night stand online and opted to have it shipped to our home, it got here a few days before they estimated it getting here so that was nice . What I did like was how when it arrived at my doorstep the box was intact, no rips or holes it was well boxed and wrapped. My husband and I began to assemble the pieces and had a bit of trouble cause some of the pieces were supposed to have labels on them to help us identify what is what but we just used our brains a little harder and figured it out. Took about an hour and turned out looking very nice and sleek. We have it in our young sons room . We ordered the south shore dresser as well and well I won't be writing a good review about that one because were still waiting for it and it's been a long time. Anyways this night stand is good , durable and well put together .

We bought this along with the other five dresser drawer for our daughters bedroom. This was super easy to assemble and it only took me about 20 minutes total to put it together. It's sturdy and looks high quality. Were very satisfied with this product.

I feel like for the price that I paid I cannot complain at all. It looks very classy and beautiful. The black shines. I don't know why so many people complain about it knowing how much they paid. Maybe it's not good for someone who will stuff the drawers up or who has kids that will be really aggressive with opening and closing it. If you're a teen or in your 20s, it's worth it. Just take good care of it.

After hearing all the negative reviews for this product I was worried. I ordered it in black first. Once we received the black one, it was easy to put together and fits its purpose wonderfully. I ordered one in white too. They are for my daughters rooms and they love them. I would recommend getting a piece of glass cut to put on top as its particle board and will warp easily, other than that they love them!

Easy to build, looks great and is sturdy. My only concern would be that it is a little short to sit next to a bed on a frame, but it still works. I built 2 in less than an hour, instructions were clear and easy to follow.

It serves it's purpose. It looks really nice once you get it together, and you can't beat the price. We had a small problem getting one of the sides on, and my husband used a hammer, this is not a good idea, it did chip the board, but it still went together. It is pretty sturdy. I would buy again. At the bottom one of the board were chipped when it arrived, but it was in the back so I didn't bother to get another one.

My 13 yro son built both of them by himself. He accidentally nailed the back piece on with the black side facing outwards which we later corrected (you only notice it if you're eye level with the open part on the bottom). The only thing I found slightly strange is there are no wheels on the tracks which is what I'm used to but they still function nice just not a smooth glide but its really not an issue just something different. All in all I'm very happy with them. I will say to be careful with the corners during construction because it is easy to bend the color layer up from the particle board but once its together that doesn't seem to be a problem.

The furniture is easy to set up, however, the back brace of the drawers should have a pilot hole drilled in it so the screw stays straight. On two of the drawers for the 5 drawer the screws broke through the wood. Starter holes should be given for the back piece and the drawer bottoms. Two of the drawers the nails broke through the particle board.

My brother just put this night stand up for me, he said it wasnt hard, for me maybe just a little. This item is much much smaller then it looks online. Dont think it was worth the 58 bucks i paid maybe 40 bucks and i would have no complaints. It's kinda small but for my room it's ok. So if your looking for something big this is not for you! something small perfect.

The instructions to put this thing together couldn't have been more confusing. It was just pictures with very little instructions, and you had to guess whether you were using the right screw or not because none of them were labeled in the plastic bag it came in. Besides the stress of putting this together, I can't describe to you how cheap it feels. Sure, it looks decent in the pictures and not too bad in person for the price, but the wood feels like plastic, and the sliding drawer rails are actually made of a cheap plastic. Yes, a cheap plastic that makes it hard to even open the drawer. Like many of you, I was looking for a good looking nightstand for a cheap price, but I got something cheaper than I can explain. I'm normally not one to complain about the quality of furniture since I typically go for cheaper bargain deals, but this one is hard to justify. I would highly recommend spending a little more money to get a more quality piece of furniture. This nightstand feels like something you would find in a college dorm room.
