Definitely better than I expected! Its large, sturdy, doesn't look cheap. Definitely a two person job. Not difficult just takes a little time. We also purchased the chest. After looking for a white dresser set for weeks. We were very pleased and delivery was faster than stated

I'm very pleased with the quality appearance of the SoHo 6Drawer Dresser. The dresser arrived just over a week after I ordered it, 1 full week earlier than promised. It was packed extremely well and even though the box was ripped here and banged there during shipping, the dresser parts remained in-tact and in new condition. The instructions are OK and make no mistake, this does not go together in an hour. I consider myself very handy and it took me 3 hours working by myself. South Shore does an excellent job with directions. They MUST be followed or you WILL have difficulties. Pay special attention to the hardware, screws especially, that you are grabbing to ensure you have the correct ones. Look closely at the illustrations. There is a little more to a SoHo assembly that other furniture makers but that little bit more gives you a better quality and more stable product that some other boxed furniture makers. Once assembled the function and fit is very good. I would definitely recommend this to anyone working within a budget.

I received my order and the dresser is perfect! The quality is very nice and exactly as shown in the picture. I'm really happy with the purchase—highly recommended!

We weren't too impressed with how this turned out after assembling it. The drawer alignment is not consistent and it had some scratches upon delivery. This was not exactly cheap even as a Walmart brand. Likely won't be purchasing furniture from Walmart again.

This product works but it was pretty beat up when it came in. It was a good price and on clearance so we just kept it and "fixed" the broken and beat up pieces.

The dresser was fairly easy to put together...took a few hours. I am a 27 year old girl and did it by myself. The only problem with the dresser is that it is SUPER heavy...so I needed my boyfriend to lift it in the house for me and move it around. After I got it all put together, the drawers are very hard to open and close. They are squeezed in really tight, it wouldn't be that big of a deal but it was for my 7 year old and he has a hard time opening and shutting the drawers...

Not exactly difficult to build but it takes a long time. There are many many different pieces! You'll need a hammer and a screw driver. I like the look of this dresser but it is a bit cheap. The drawers need a bit of coaxing and the surface does dent easily. Still, a real wood dresser would cost a lot more so for the price I think it is good.

this took me several evenings to put together. as suggested i did not use any power tools. from what i can see i just don't have the strength in my hands to make things as tight as they should have been, because the entire thing is either too tight or loose, depending on the drawer. at first glance it looks okay (one drawer is way off center from the others - photo attached). regardless, i'm going to use it since i won't give up on all the work i've done to get this thing together, alone. it goes to show you: you get what you pay for. not one solid piece of wood. all particle board, a lot of screws, nails, bits and plastic pieces to put this thing together.

When they box arrived, it seemed fine. After my husband had already spent an hour starting the assembly (it's supposed to take 90 mins , it took almost 3 hours) we noticed 2 chips on the top and 2 on the sides. Then we had to glue 2 pieces of veneer back on. The over all quality of this dresser was very poor. I wanted to pack it all back and take back to the store, but my husband had already spent hours putting it together, also this was a gift for my soon to be born granddaughter's nursery. We didn't have time to replace it , so we spent more money repairing and trying to make it presentable. I would not buy this product or anything else again from this company! Very dissatisfied!!!

The product was received damaged. The top has a chunk missing as well as a large crack down the middle. The drawers are very tight and do not open easily. Lastly, the drawer handles don't even fit properly. 2 of the 6 are loose and wiggle when used. I would not recommend this product. You can find a better, less damaged product at a corner furniture store for half the price.
