Wow!
I agree with the other poster. This show is a non-stop action thriller with twists and turns around every corner. Something you can't allow the kids to see though. Very graphic and lots of nudity.

Spartacus 1st season
Without a doubt one of the best series that came out of any of the premium services. In my humble opinion, 1st. season of Spartacus was the best of the four that came out. Andy Whitfield was superb. There was a lot of nudity, blood and gore,and violence that announced before and to be expected of that era. Well done Starz.

I watched every episode of this on Starz before I ordered and LOVED the series and couldn't wait for the DVD to come out and can't wait for the next season to start...once you start watching you can't stop...Andy is GREAT...can't say enough about the way it's written and they all do a great job with the acting and portayal of the times. A great buy.

Great Series!
Each episode kept me waiting for the next episode! A fun and exciting series to watch especially for those who like action & violence, bloodshed, and a bit of drama & romance with a twist. In this series, you never know who is backstabbing who...and the aliances are epic!

A Literal Movie Epic for the Small Screen
Season 1 is 13 episodes in length. I guarantee you will be drawn in from the very first episode. Definitely not for younger viewers. This show has something for everyone. Gladiator gore for the guys and romance for the girls. This show delivers on all facets of what a "sit on the edge of your seat" show should be and is. Couple all this with Walmarts price for the dvd set, you can't beat it.

Blood and Sand Galore
This is not a movie for the squeamish. Having a NR rating provides the viewer with plenty of uncensored scenes. "Blood and Sand" takes on a whole new meaning of its own. Each episode is filled with "nail biting" tension that concludes with the viewer wanting more... when the next episode continues where the last left off.
