Spice By Tia Mowry - Creamy Tahini 12-Piece Blush Stoneware Dinnerware Set

The Tia Mowry stoneware set is modern, stylish and very beautiful. This set includes 4 of each dinner plates, salad plates and bowls. Every piece is just perfect. I like that it includes salad place as oppose to saucers and that the bowls are a nice deep bowl unlike the shallow bowls I usually see in sets. The color is just beautiful, it is a dull pink or maybe even a peach in my opinion. Very modern looking. I can use these dishes everyday or to entertain guest in style. These are heavier style dishes as quoted by my 85 year old father in-law just keep that in mind when some are carrying them to the table filled with food. I have put them through the dishwasher and they have come out nicely and not duller looking or discoloration.

The 'Tia Mowry Spice Dinner Set' is awesome. Very thick dishes I think are made out of terra cotta. There is a set of 4 dinner plates, saucers and bowls - for a total of 12 pieces. These dishes are very heavy. They are thick. Very well made. Uniform in color. No chips, no streaks. They are great special occasion pieces or work as an awesome decorative place setting. Washed easily. The plate is oversized and looks like it could easily be a serving platter. The saucer is more a standard plate size. Perfect for the holidays.

I have been looking for something that was thick and sturdy for quiet sometime now but also a set that was simple yet elegant. This set did not disappoint me at all. They have a decent weight to them. So I'm not too concerned about them breaking easily at all. I received them and immediately put them in the dishwasher to test my theory on the sturdiness , no issues there at all. So yes they are dishwasher approved. There were some minor flaws in the dishes, couple of scratches but not enough for me to cause a huge fuss about. The only somewhat negative thing that I could comment on would have to be the color. I ordered cream, expecting a true cream color. They had a slight green tint to in.

This is a really beautiful, simple and WELL MADE dinnerware set. I'm not sure what they are made out of but every dish is HEAVY! The color I received is a light sage color and it's very warm and beautiful. I've hand washed them although it says they are microwave and dishwasher safe. Warning if you have children, you definitely don't want them handling these alone. I have a fear of this dish breaking if dropped! I also would've like it to come with 4 mugs/cups. Overall they are an excellent quality and I would recommend - just handle with care.

This “Spice” dish set by Tia Mowry are nice and thick. These are very well-made and the coral goes perfectly with keeping with my beach theme throughout my home. The Coral color isn't as bright as in the stock photos online but this really works better for me , as I actually was worried that it might be a tad too bright but they weren't! I especially love the cream color ring around the top of each plate and bowl. It truly adds class to the design of these dishes. I like how these plates and bowls are both microwaveable and dishwasher safe! I can make a bowl of oatmeal right inside these bowls, eat out of it, and then put it right into the dishwasher. The matte finish allows you to set a table as formally as you'd like or as casual as you want, which for me makes this dish set very versatile. The only thing that I wish was included were coffee mugs! A nice set of large coffee mugs would've been terrific and a great way to serve dessert along with a nice pot of coffee. One other thing I wish Tia Mowry made was a completer set with platters and vegetable size bowls. I'm sure I'll be able to find something to blend in but to have it all match exactly would've been nice. That said this dish set is very nice and heavy and of good quality. I'm very pleased.

These plates are gorgeous. They came so well packaged and we're all in tact. The matte finish is gorgeous and doesn't show scratches. They're very sturdy and heavy. The salad plates are the perfect size. Definitely recommend. Can't wait to see what she comes out with in the future.

Having moved across country recently, I had decided not to bring most of my stuff with me as it just wasn't worth the expense. I moved east sans dishes figuring I'd pick up an inexpensive set for every day use once I got out here. I was gifted a really fancy set of dishes for my birthday last year, but felt uncomfortable using those as my every day use dishes. These came along at the perfect time and I've been really happy with them since I got them. I use them every day and couldn't be happier. The dishes are slightly bigger than "average", which is perfect for me. It makes it so that I have the flexibility to use them as my portion preference dictates rather than being limited by the size of the dish.

The Spice by Tia Mowry set is one for the ages!!!! It is high end dinnerware without the expensive price. When it was shipped to me, it was packaged with care, so none of the dinnerware had any flaws whatsoever. The set is my new centerpiece at my family meals, and I put a plate in the microwave to see if it was durable. It definitely is microwave safe. The design of the dinnerware set is so classy and refined. I know this brand will stick around and resonate because it is premium!! My family loves this set, and even the cereal bowls are great!!! My kids won't use any other cereal bowls now!!!

I was in love with this Stoneware Dinnerware Set by Tia Mowry's Spice brand the moment I saw them! I already own an almost identical set (also manufactured by the Gibson Company, but in a mint green color) and they've lasted me for several years now, so I'm hoping this set will last just as long. I chose the green set and was a little surprised when they were more of a grayish sage color in person compared to the somewhat minty green they looked in the photos online. I still really enjoy the color and it's very toned down and I feel it would go really great with neutral toned color palettes or decor and would add just a hint of color. The glaze is also matte with a glossy white rim. While I do like the overall look of the matte glaze, sometimes I have issues with silverware leaving marks on the dishes that will not come off. This is definitely a downside for me. The dishes themselves are very thick and heavy duty and I like not having to worry about these breaking or chipping easily. They are microwavable and dishwasher safe, but I notice that they will retain heat longer than other dishes, so definitely be careful when removing from the microwave. The bowls in this set are nice and deep and perfect for soups! I like this set a lot, but I think next time I'd get a set with a glossy glaze over a matte one.

Every piece from this set came stained! I washed all dishes, yet none of the stains came out. I am truly disappointed as new products are supposed to come with no stains or mistakes but this set was a true dissatisfaction! I was so excited to open them, but to my surprise the dishes has brown stains that were not meant to be there!!!
