Great game for the yard. My husband loves to play with others and I enjoy playing with him, maybe not as competitively as him at times. Good for people to just hit around or get competitive (sweaty).
I played this spike ball game with my friends and it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had. Coming into the game, some of the players were clueless, however, the set up manual as well as the instructions as to how to play, were very easy to follow. It took us 10 minutes to set the game up. In the past, I have noticed many spike ball knock off nets to be very weak, causing the ball to not be very bouncy. However, this what not the case at all, the net created a nice spring and the ball bounced perfectly. Highly recommended purchase!!!
The instructions to setup were easy enough, and it's really not that complicated. It's just one of those things that our a little tiresome because it's more time consuming than one would think. I'd suggest setting it up prior to giving if for kids. This way you don't have a couple of excited kids running around getting excited and slightly impatient to use it as you and your husband our setting it up. Takes a little bit of the joy out of it for them. Ultimately though, an amazing game that we can play as a family and be a little more active with the kids. It's nice to have something that is a lot of fun, doesn't really take up a lot of room in your house (unlike a ping pong table or pool table), and it'll help keep your kids and their friends active even during the winter times (we set it up in the garage). I absolutely love this game and think every family should have one.
This was a gift for our 11 (almost 12) year old son for Christmas. I was a little nervous he would not like it. Turns out he was already a fan. He played it during P.E. at School. I ordered from Walmart after it was suggested by Amazon as a gift idea, but out of stock for weeks leading up to Christmas and showed a shipping date projection for 01/04/2021. Academy, Dick's, and Target were also out of stock. Walmart had it and delivered it within the 3 day time period as promised.
Excelent
The spikeball was a gift for my granddaughter so I'm not anle to answer the question asked. All I know is that she loved it!
This was extremely hard to put together. QR code for directions didn't work. Not sure how we will get it taken apart to travel to the beach. The net was missing one of the pieces to line up where it connects and seems like it wasn't cut correctly. Just extremely cheaply made.
I'm always looking for a deal. I found this spike ball set marked $40 off. Box was visibly damaged and resealed with clear duct tape. Thinking it was being sold as a returned, opened, resealed and complete undamaged item. All was looking good when I opened the package and was counting inventory of pieces. Then I noticed item was broken. Shame on them. Some reviews stated mixed reviews on durability. Most likely will return .
The price of these is astronomical for how easy the plastic breaks! These don't even come with the “pro“ balls and the black plastic hoops breaks so easily that I would not recommend these to anyone. We've gone through so many of these %26 are constantly fixing the black broken hoops! We've gotten by bc we use the spare parts from our previously broken ones %26 also end up screwing, gluing %26 doing whatever it takes to put these back together. These are so easily broken that I seriously started buying an extra one every time I ordered a new one %26 now I'm just so fed up with the crappy quality of these that I will be purchasing offbrand as I can't imagine the plastic of an offbrand to be any worse than these‼️
It broke after the second use
