I loved the previous Spinbrush model, but decided to try this and surprisingly, it is a whole lot better! I get the teeth nice and clean and definitely it gives my gums a good stimulation. I like the non-"Whiten" version a bit better than this Whiten one, but this is good also. Having two batteries in it makes it more powerful and effective. I was a bit flummoxed when trying to change the batteries in my first one. I had to take a little knife and kind of pry them out.
Unfortunately, they don't make them like they used to. I was happy with the slimmer design. It was easy to brush my teeth, and more importantly, it was easy to change the batteries. A problem from after the first use was: sometimes the brushhead didn't started moving until I began brushing my teeth or I tapped it. Weird. Having one button to turn it on and off, with no indication of whether it's on or off, is a no go. It's a bad design, especially if you have a toothbrush that doesn't come on all the time. I have a feeling that this toothbrush leeches energy from the batteries, even when it is turned off, because the battery life is terrible. This Spinbrush lasted six months. I'm not sure if I would buy this again so I'm looking at other brands right now.
I've used and sworn by the spinbrush for over a decade. I have been complimented about the lack of build up on my teeth during cleanings multiple times (even when I don't go regularly). I've tried multiple much more expensive toothbrushes, but ended up coming back to this one. I love the look of the new design, but I've gone through two within the past couple of months. The first one barely worked and would stop moving when I brushed even with very light pressure, and I figured it was just a dud. The next one has done well for a few months but just died mid brush this morning and changing the batteries did nothing. I just want the function of the new design to be more reliable.
I have used the brush about 2 weeks, twice a day. I think it works fine for me but my complaint is that it is loud. I have used electric brushes for years and I can't remember having one this loud. I have always bought a name brand and decided this time to try this longer handle brush. I'm sorry, I don't think I will buy this brand again. I can't wait until the battery dies, lol.
wanted to love this, as it felt like it cleaned my teeth well. however, both that ive purchased have died after a couple of weeks using it. new batteries didnt fix it. it was permanently dead.
Bought these as stocking stuffers for Christmas. Two of the three toothbrushes are already dead. Changed the batteries on both but did not work. I expected them to last longer than two months. Seeing lots of similar poor reviews of the updated products.
Brand new and it's defective. Today is February 16 toothbrush was purchased on February 10 thought that we just had a week or a dead battery so I replaced it with brand new Duracell batteries and that did not start it
MFG %23 0766878400013 Hard to work the on/off button. The brush like some of the old style, the back and forth brush works, but the circular doesn't all the time. The fatter style Mfg %23 766878000787 previous to this one much better using brush DD3364T2.
I was excited to see the new slimmed down size of the head that worked better for the tight spots in the back. It worked better for a few days, that is. After that, the head stopped spinning at even the slightest pressure! I replaced the batteries too. Even if I don't apply any pressure with my hand, the pressure from the space between my cheek and teeth stopped the brush from spinning. It's now just a noisy manual toothbrush that requires batteries to make noise. Unfortunately, I didn't use it right away and now it appears my return window has closed. Since I was a loyal Spinbrush user for a long time, I made the mistake of purchasing new heads at the same time I bought the new brush. Times are hard which is why I'm so upset that I wasted money on these purchases. I hope to spare you the same trouble.
The Spinbrush has stopped working, no spin at all. I have used a Spinbrush for over 15 years and the new design one I recently purchased stops as soon as it hits my teeth. I have replaced the batteries after it quit spinning the first time about a month ago. It doesn't look like I'm the only one with this problem, I wish I would have read the reviews before I purchased.
