Holds up well to abuse
We had 2 of these, the 3.5 inch i think. Lost one in the pond (yeah, they don't really float all that well), we might eventually find the other one. It's in the yard or woods somewhere. My old lab didn't care for them. Her first love was tennis balls but

Dog toy; Red Ball
It is a VERY hard AND heavy ball. My two small dogs don't really like to play with it. It is rubber, but it's heavy. At least my older dog can't chew through it.

Not Strong Enough For All
If your dog destroys everything- this toy might not be much different. I have a very strong pup. This toy's lifetime was only 10 minutes with him. I have yet to find any toy my dog will not destroy that are not solid nylon. It would probably work great for a dog that is not as tough on toys.
