I was looking for something portable to help keep my back limber and gave this a try. I injured my back at work in my late 20s and am now almost 60. If I keep my back stretched, I can usually avoid the painful situations where my back spasms and I can barely stand up straight. This massager/stretcher is very sturdy and stays in place on my yoga mat. The exercises are well documented and if you go through all of them they seem to work all the supporting muscles in your mid-section. The shape of the massager does stretch your back pretty well. You really have to ease yourself into it though. I'm not able to do one of the exercises at all - probably due to my age. I think a younger person in decent shape could handle all of the exercises. I've been using this every other day and my back does feel better afterwards. The product packaging mentions the Fit for Life app, but when I downloaded it this product was not covered so I deleted the app. I think this is worth the time and money. Just read through the directions and make sure you start out easy and work your way up to a more difficult workout.
At first, I was very skeptical about back/stretch massager. I have seen so many gadgets on tv. I must admit that I am impressed. I suffer from lower back pain periodically, and I must admit that this back/stretcher massager makes a difference. I even use it when I am driving.
The SPRI Back/Stretch Relax Massager, Inversion Equipment is great for warming-up to exercise. It is geared to sooth the back tissue and massage back muscles. It aims to reduce soreness by strengthening the abs, obliques and lower back. It is corrugated, but firm. It is so lightweight, not even a pound, so it is extremely convenient and portable. The exercise guide is detailed and clear cut. I love using it to stretch my muscles before I exercise.
good design.Gives you a great stretch! Relieves the tightness/low back pain. A bit tough to put the pieces into place. The acupressure bumps on the device are sometimes a bit aggressive...but much more comfortable if I wear a thicker shirt when I lay on the device. There are 3 positions. I have only been able to get to the second position. Cannot imagine anyone needing the third most dramatic stretch! Takes a bit of practice and time to get up after an extensive stretch... but it does feel great as you relax and breath on the device. I hear my back pop as I breathe. Looks like it would work well in a chair or car seat as well.
This back pad is ideal for lower back problems. When the ad says 'Massager,' it's no exaggeration! This pad worked wonders for me! I purchased it with the intent to use it in my easy chair, but once I used it and discovered just how wonderfully it works, I ended up using it in bed at night, in my car while driving, at the table while eating, and even wrapped in plastic and in the bath tub while soaking. I ordered three more so I won't have to do so much carting around with one pad. Another thing in particular that impressed me about this product is the fact that it is attractive and very well made, so I don't have to worry about it coming apart on me and having to search for a replacement.
The SPRI back stretcher has been fantastic so far. The stretcher is made of foam and has ripped pattern on top that really helps to easy sore back muscles when stretching. The materials this is made from are high quality and has not shown any signs of wear so far after using several times a day. I particularly like this right before working out in the morning to help loosen up. Besides being great for stretching out you can also use this to aid in light exercises to keep good alignment. There is an included booklet with some to get you going. The size of the stretcher is a bit small but it doesn't slip while using and feels good any way I've used it. I recommend this for anybody looking to keep good posture when doing light for exercises or trying alleviate pain from sore/pulled muscles.
SPRI Back/Stretch Relax Massager, Inversion Equipment My back stretcher arrived this week and I have mixed feelings about it. This back stretcher helps you to safely stretch and support your spine and back muscles but it is very uncomfortable at first. I'm sure it won't feel as bad as I get used to it. The back stretcher is made out of foam and has a very firm texture. I didn't realize it would feel as hard as it did. There is an exercise guide included which shows you how to relieve your back pain, improve flexibility, and find proper alignment. I tried one of the exercises that looks like a sit up and it cracked my back so hard! I can only use this for about 5 minutes at a time. I am slowly imcreasing my usage so I don't hurt myself.
It works alright I thought it would be a little softer.
This has helped in stretching out my muscles in my lower back. It has helped me to reduce pain in my lower back, as well as increasing my mobility.
Liked it. Was a little harder than I expected it to be. This may be good? Haven't had it long enough to say for sure its helping.
