These are absolutely precious and perfect for adults and kids that love hugs and soft pillows, or have anxiety, ptsd, off the charts stress, or any other mental health issues. These are so perfect. I have a bunch of squishmellows also, and I love how squishy and soft they are, but they have zero weight to them. These are like the squishys, but have the weight. I can't speak to the medium or small sizes, but the large ones feel like they are laying their head on your shoulder and putting their paws around you, literally hugging you. It's very comforting. I bought the black cat for myself, the Siamese cat and the Dino for my 17 yo and my 14 yo kiddos, respectively. They also adore them and they help them with their anxiety as well as just being nice to hold. There are only 3 things I can say that I didn't care for, but it's not a big deal. First, you can't warm up the animal like a heating pad, which would have taken these babies to the next level; however, they are still pretty much the best option I found on the market and I did a LOT of shopping around, for quite some time. Second, the cats came packaged in vacuum sealed plastic bags and they were totally smushed. The black cat didn't suffer too much from it and wasn't too wrinkled but the Siamese cat was horribly scrunched up, wrinkled badly, and didn't want to fully expand. The instructions say not to put it in the dryer because it could damage the weighted beads. Instead, they say you should allow the animal to expand by continuously patting it and smoothing it out etc. Ain't nobody got time for that. So I stuck it in the dryer on super delicate with a wet washcloth for steam, for about 20 minutes. It didn't get all the wrinkles out but it got the worst of it out and didn't damage anything. Just make sure you use super low heat, for the least amount of time possible, and keep an eye on it. And then lastly, the price for the size and weight kind of sucks. I found several that weighed a few pounds more (5 lbs instead of 3.1 like these) and they were priced the same, but they didn't seem to be as high in quality. I 100% do not regret buying these 3 and would absolutely buy them again, and I would buy them as gifts for anyone with anxiety that can't stand a weighted blanket like me. Oh, you definitely have to make them too. The kids named theirs Bagel (the Siamese cat), STeeevn The Dino (yeah spelled and pronounced just like that lol) and of course me, the adult, named my kitty..um..Puss 👀💁♀️😁😆😽
This soft, cuddly cat is a great neck brace for watching TV, reading, or any other sitting activity. It's also adorable and huggable.
After our cat crossed the rainbow bridge, this was a sweet comfort. I love the weighted feature %26 I even had to get a few of them! This item has been such a blessing
Our cat is watching over us from heaven now %26 this was a sweet comfort to a grieving little girl. The weighted aspect was perfect %26 the large one looks sweet in our old cat bed.
This is an adorable lovey. It is super soft and has a little bit of weight. Biggest down side it is that its very small compared to other weighted stuffed animals i have seen. my kid still enjoyed it but it is not much for sensory purposes.
This product is a good size but the weighted part of it isn't throughout the whole animal. It's just a ball of “weight” that usually settles in its butt area so it doesn't give the physical input necessary
The problem is had with this item was that the part that gives the item its "weight" was all at one end. Then when you turned it upside down the weight shifted/dropped to that side. It worked like an hour glass. I had purchased a weighted stuffed animal from Amazon and all the weight was distributed evenly. Def disappointed.
the size of the cat verses that little weight bag in side the cat. would have returned it, but had rotator cuff surgery and was not allowed to drive for over a month. The cat is cute. ill probably cut the weight out and a hand full of foam and sew it back up and donate it to somewhere for the less fortunate. You really need to rethink the weight. It is fixable.
When I took it out of the package, I knew I would have to fluff it up, all the weight went down to the butt area and it looks like it has poop in that area. There's not enough weighted material to get it to spread evenly. Definitely returning.
This cat look horrible. All smashed and lumpy and would not fluff up. I bought a black that was very cute but returned because I needed two.
