Best self tanner I've used. Nice color not orange colored. I use on my face as well and love the result. I will buy again.
This tan was my first to try from St.Tropez after going to a salon for a spray tan. Since then I have never gone back and always stocking up on it! Every time it gives me such a great tan, never fails to impress. So easy to apply and the fade is good.
I researched for the best tanning lotion/mousse and St. Tropez was consistently at the top. And I agree with the reviews! A flawless tan that is long-lasting and fades away without notice. The guide color during application is very helpful, and the scent is minimal to non-existent.
LOVE this product! It's called a classic for a reason... easy to apply, dries fast, and looks natural. There is that slight self tanner smell but nothing too overwhelming. It also does have a green tint at first however that blends to produce an olive skin tone. I shower before I apply and wait the full 8-9 hours. PERFECT. EVERY. TIME.
I used to self-tan in the late 90s and early 2000s but had stopped for quite a while. I always disliked the orange tones and smell. This is sooooo much better- less odor (especially after you shower off 4-8 hrs after application), only a bit orangey on tough spots on knees and elbows, dries quickly, only transfers onto clothing a bit prior to showering, and I like how it has a “guide” to show you where you're applying it. I am very pale and this gives me a nice light tan. I've applied it four times in the last six days and I think I will only need to reapply a couple or few times a week in the summer to maintain this color. I did buy it for $21.50 which is a decent price considering I've heard it will last almost two months. :) I use the St Tropez mitt with it and wash it with soap and water after every use (tough when you're trying not to get wet after application...lol)
I thought this self tan was really good, it was so easy to put on with the mit, went on easily and sank into my skin ok. I worked it into the skin made sure there was no streaks. I leave it on over night to develop the colour, it was the right colour for me as I dont like it dark. The mit made it so easy to put it on, it dried quickly and the smell was ok. It lasted about a week, but I did find a few streaky parts when I had showered. Still a great tanning mousse though.
Amazing tan. Bottle always breaks. The tan itself is amazing. Really even and streak free. Easy to apply. I don't believe it is smell-free, but it's better than some others I have used. I also don't think it dries instantly, and I do end up sticky after for a while.
I have used St. Tropez for quite some time now, so I am disappointed that my most recent purchase of this arrived damaged. The seal was still intact, but the product was smeared on the inside of the seal. However, I will say the tan looks deep and natural, especially for being a redhead.
I loved the color of this, the subtle color guard, easy application. I have tried a ton of fake tans, and I always sweat them off in the gym, leaving them patchy by the end of the week. I did a ton of research on this product, and several places said this was an awesome sweat resistant tan, so I bought it! I applied it after exfoliating and a shower before bed, so it would have plenty of time to dry, like I do for all fake tans. However, when I put it on, the next day it was literally running off of me. I put my computer on my lap, and when I picked it up, a noticeable rectangle was gone from the tan, and there was brown tan on the bottom of my computer. I wore a brand new white tank top, and absolutely ruined it with this tan. I love the color, but there are definitely better fake tans out there! Not sure why it went so horribly wrong! I am definitely neurotic about research and application, so I wouldn't say this is user error - but not sure why no reviews reflect this issue.
LOVE the products but what has happened to the application mitt? It used to last at least 1 season of use, now........after 1 or 2 uses (I mean this literally) it starts falling apart. They are $10.00 each in canada that is a LOT to spend on a tanning mitt. The quality on the mitt has gone way down and the price went up so clearly this was about increasing the revenue stream while losing the quality. I have heard many others comment on the same its really frustrating. So now i have to go elsewhere to get a mitt that will last more then 2 times before it starts ripping and falling apart. None of us are rough with the mitt either, used as directed. I have tried washing as directed, I have tried washing in just plain water no gentle soap, tepid water and I have tried not washing between uses to see what works best, it doesn't matter. St. Tropez really needs to work on developing a better quality mitt to accompany the price of the products they sell, its not compatible when it comes to your marketing. Please, please get us a better mitt that we can purchase with the product instead of having to go elsewhere to find a mitt that will last :) Thanks for the amazing products though :) I have turned many people on to St. Tropez just by the tan they see on me, everyone thinks its natural and i am super fair but use the Extra Dark mousse
