Sta Bil has been around a long time. Now it keeps ethanol fuel safe for 2 years. Ethanol turns to sugar /varnish and will ruin any gas that is stored. Starts degrading in as little as 3 days in a gas tank. There are other products on the market claiming to keep fuel fresh, but I did my homework, and Sta Bil is the one that works. I use it in my lawn machines, weed wackers, even cars that are not used that much. Great product. A little goes a long way.
I bought this product, because I'm storing my 1965 Sunbeam Tiger , for the winter. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I've been using Sta-Bil for several years my motorhome's gasoline tank. It keeps the gasoline from gelling.
I like using it all year round; it seems to keep my carbs clean from vernishing.
Great product at a great price.
I've used Sta-Bil for years, for lawn mower/snow blower gas I have a 5/gallon gas can I'll put 2oz of Sta-Bil per gallon it'll take me 2 years to use up 5 gallons! I have another 5/gallon gas can for my backup generator I just use a double dose of 2oz of Sta-Bil for 2.5 gallons. After a year or so if I don't lose power, I'll put it in car and get another fresh can for backup!
When I put my classics in storage for winter (6 months here in the Northeast) I would not think of storing them without a healthy dose of Sta-Bil Storage! I have never had any problems with stale gas and they fire right up in the Spring. Fill the tank to the top. add Sta-Bil and run for a few minutes to protect the fuel in the lines as well.
Stay away from this seller! Ordered a gal of Stabil but got a 10 oz. It's as if they don't know what they are doing or want to con people, or both! Stay away from this seller!
ordered a gallon but received 10oz.
They sent me the wrong size product, I paid for a larger size.
