Bought this after the battery died in my honda civic. Plugged it in after i got it and it was fully charged in an hour. Connected to my car and it jumped it just fine. My car battery was barely dead so i cant say this will work in all cases, but it was a life saver for me!
Am so frustrated continually seeking jump-starts because the battery in my stored vehicle dies ... and the unit I purchased last year from another store to renew power to the that battery requires removing and lifting the exhausted, heavy battery into my home. Now, my problems are solved!
Ive used this on my car and others cars since Nov 2019 and its paid for itself ten times over! It the best automotive buy Ive made. No jumper cables or battery removal, just clip on and start the car! The built in light and phone chargers are great, too.
I was pleased to see what a well made product this appears to be. The instructions indicate this comes partly charged from the factory and must be charged 24 hours but mine was fully charged right out of the box. Also has 12-volt and usb charger features.
I like this unit although I know it isn't as powerful as some others on the market. It's basically a 300Amp jumper but it works fine if you let the target battery charge from it for a few minutes. It took me a while to understand what the lights are telling me (the previous jumper I had didn't have them) but now I find them strangely normal. All of which is to say that it suits my needs at a great price.
I've had this baby for only a couple of weeks so I haven't had to use it to jump start my car. I hope I don't have to use it, but like a spare tire-it's good to have it. It is light enough to carry around, and the light will come in handy if I have to look for terminals in the dark. I have used it to start my riding lawnmower and it works great for that. The charge level lights are a good feature. It is important to keep it charged so it will work when you need it. I'm pleased with it, I plan to keep it charged, and like a spare tire, I hope I don't have to use it.
Arrived at my house on time without a scratch. It felt well-built, sturdy, and was already partially charged, but I plugged it in for 3 - 4 hours. I had been thinking I should have gotten one with more wattage, since my Chrysler Sebring's battery was completely down. But it turned the engine, which started on only the second bump. Though I've only used it once, I'm pleased so far.
Small portable starter kit which helped me jumpstart without anyones help or wait 30/45 min for the road side assistance. life saver. will update the review if anything changes.
I ordered the STANLEY J309 600-Peak Amp Jump Starter and Power Station, but unfortunately it arrived completely dead. It wouldn't take a charge, wouldn't power on—just a brick out of the box. Very frustrating, especially for a product meant to deliver emergency power.
Piece of junk !!! I have a bad habit of leaving the interior lights of my car on , which eventually causes a dead battery. So I have to call and have someone come out to jump start my car . So , after the last time this happened ( Feb of this year) , I decided to purchase a jump starter. Which I did . Last week (Aug of this year) I made the same foolish mistake causing my battery to go dead yet again . But this time I figured that it would not be a costly mistake as I had my on "Jump Starter"..............WRONG..........I made sure it was fully charged before attempting to jump my car battery.......and nothing......it would not even come close to turning over !!!! So , once again , I had to call someone to come out and jump start my car. I would like a 100% refund !!! Don't buy this item.
