Stansport Gourmet Propane Stove with Stand

We bought several cookers to cook the messy stuff (fried fish, chicken, etc.) and spicy food that leaves a lingering curry smell in the house. We used the burner that came with the grill for several years until it started to deposit carbon on the underside of the pots. Bought some of those camper burners and it felt more for group cooking than for small 3 person family. Incomplete burning leaving the carbon residue and wasting propane. We looked at this and realized the burner has fine control for simmering and ample burn for the wok. The swirl in the burner makes a clean propane combustion and does not stain the pots. We are very happy with the stove. The stand is a little weak. Does the job designed for but feels flimsy and could be built better: hence the 4 stars on durability. The burner top is great and the ignition feature works well. The burner does well in windy conditions well.

our tenant loves this new stove i replaced for the old one, strong BTU and cook food fast , strongly recommend for this terrific price great product, must buy.

We have only tried it out to make sure it works properly. Which it does., but have put in camper till next year for camping in good weather

It was easy to set up and use very light and easy to move any where. I have an electric stove in the house but I want to cook in the garage because some time it smell all over the house if I cook fish oi sea food any way it good for the price I pay

It's so fragile that I am going to used it in case of emergencies. Bought a cheap product @ a cheap price. I wasn't looking for a product that I could use every day.

Searched long & hard before purchasing this stove. Do recommend this swirl/flame action on burners. Didn't need/use legs, as it sets beautifully on a raised outside stand I'd previously built for canning/cooking outdoors on covered patio. Love the piezoelectric starter function, flame adjustment control, overall cooking ability of stove, but, had to build a wooden (used 2X6 board in 'H' pattern) center support for extra strength to support heavyweight water bath canners, etc. while cooking. Not nearly enough center structural support, for canning, as why the 4 instead of 5 stars. After my personal modification for support, we absolutely love the stove. Does exactly as hoped for, as we didn't want 30,000 btu output for our needs by any means. Thanks, for letting me voice our feelings. Wish manufacturer would make this support change. They'd increase sales 10-fold I am sure, as other's complained, but I purchased and rectified the problem myself, knowing ahead of time. Yours truly, satisfied Bob

Everything is good except the steel sheet is so thin it will get deformed easily by simply pressing into it. I have not used it so far but the burner and rest of hardware looks durable. I have my doubts about the claimed steel body which may not last more than a year if used frequently. What more you expect for the price ..I find it a good value still considering this is to be used only sometimes. If used with care may last longer.

This stove is so flimsy and cheap it did not even make it through shipping. This stainless steel on this stove is so thin it should be called tin foil ....

I ordered this gas thinking it will be great for outdoor cooking but to my surprise Walmart is selling very cheap product which came damaged, I ordered another one thinking it might be just one faulty piece I got but the other one came and when I attached the propane tank and turned the burner on, the gas was leaking from the bottom and almost the whole stove was on fire, thank god i turned the close valve on my propane tank otherwise within minutes I could have ended up with uncontrollable fire!!!!!!! Please Please double check everything for safety of your loved ones. Very disappointed in Walmart in making such cheap products and charging so much for it and nothing thinking about Safty of others!!!!
