heavier than the original
this replacement globe was substantially thicker than the original globe it came with. Dont know why, but I'm glad it is as the original was quite fragile. free shipping to my local Walmart and the lowest price i could find on the internet, made this a win win for me.

This globe fit just like it is supposed to. The replacement globe appears to be as good or better than the original one and I am happy with my purchase.

Walmart website description inaccurate
Walmart website description states this will fit on a coleman model 5130 lantern, but it does not. Bought it online and did ship to store. Wasted a trip out to Walmart to pick up somethting that turned out to not fit. Would double check the model # and compare it to the description on the coleman website vs the walmart website before actually buying.

New lantern glass, NO cushioning in the box.
Good thing it was in a cardboard box that it could only slide around in and not bounce all over, no cushion in box at all. Surprisingly it didn't break but I will have to wait until I go to install it on my lantern to make sure it's not cracked.

Fitment of replacement globe for M285
This replacement globe from Coleman does work, but does not fit exactly as it should. Diameter of the globe about 3/8" less than an optimal fit. I did get it based on a discussion with 'support' where it was suggested that the globe for the Powerhouse dual fuel lantern was the same as for the 285 & 295 models.

i tripled checked that i was ordering for a Coleman Dual Fuel Lantern, and was sent a globe for a propane lantern. This was the 3rd order in a row that Walmart online got my order wrong !! If they cant get online orders right then put products back in the store that they have been for years !!!
