Coleman String Tie Mantles 2-Pack of Model #20 String Tie Mantles for Fueled Lanterns

I have a 40 year-old Coleman backpacking lantern that uses white gas. It still works great but have had a difficult time finding replacement mantles due to the lantern no longer in production. So glad Coleman still makes the replacement mantles. Thank you!

I haven't used them yet, but if they are like the Coleman mantles I've purchased in the past, I'm good. I purchased a backpacking lantern to use on a picnic table that uses #20 and all of my other lanterns use #21. Wanted something smaller to use at the table.

Does what it's supposed to do - I don't use my Coleman lantern that often, but it always works well. I had the wrong sized wicks, so needed the right ones.

Installation involves slipping the mantle onto the burner assembly, tying the string securely, and cutting off excess string before use.Function: Once installed and lit for the first time, the mantle burns off the fabric to leave a fragile ash structure that produces light.

Works as they should. I've never understood folks using off brand mantles for Coleman lanterns. There are a couple of sizes for the respective dual fuel lanterns, the Coleman brand has never failed me, and they aren't more or less expensive than the various other mantles out there. I've not had any that were manufactured poorly or that weren't the size on the package, I recommend Coleman mantles for Coleman lanterns.

Purchased the 2 pack, however only one mantle was in the package. Reached out to the seller (Sirr0und Inc) and got no response. Don't buy from them.
