It works
First time to use a plunger of this type. Took some getting used to but I like it. Not as messy as the original but a little harder to clean. Happy with purchase.

Hollow Shaft
The rubber bulb is fine. The hollow metal shaft is thin and short. Guess that is why it is low priced!

I tried to use this both ways. Didn't work for me. The rubber is too flimsy. I would not call this professional.

Works but smells so awful
The toxic rubber chemical smell of the plunger does not seem to be going away. The plunger functions decently but the chemical smell makes it less worthwhile.
