These folders with clips have changed my life!!!!!!!! Seriously changed it! I never imagined holding all the loose papers for files could be so easy until the company I work for started using them. You have to get a hole punch to punch your papers to fit well but trust me when I say this a GREAT investment in the two. Your papers will flawlessly fit in this file with NO clutter!! You can also label the folder on the top and the papers won't hide your label. WHAT??!!??? I know it's mind blowing. Seriously though get this folder.
Staples hit the nail on the head with this one. This is now the only folder I will buy. I use these all day every day. They are in and out of my red wells and open and closed countless times as I have to refer to the documents therein to draft my legal documents or letters. I have never had one rip and the closures have never failed me. What more can one ask for; quality at a competitive price. And of course the ease and convienince of fast online ordering and usually fast and free next day shipping.
I was using the plain folders and punching my own holes and buying fasteners. Trying to figure out where to put the holes (often missing) and then sticking fasteners in was a pain. I love these folders with the fasteners already there. They cost more but considering time and frustration well worth the money. I highly recommend.
Used to file materials for a Condo Association by category.I wish these folders would be packaged with labels to paste on foridentification i.e.bank accounts janitorial service etc. For the price of thefolders [$] it seems to me a small package of labels should beincluded.
The Staples reinforced fastener folders are the only fastener file folders we use at my office. They help keep our documents in the file where they belong. We have used other name brand fastener folders in the past and Staples brand is just as good as the competitors but much less expensive.
Needed files w fasteners for our law office---usually buy from a different vendor but thought to give Staples a try. Glad I did they are cheaper about the same quality and fulfill their task of keeping docs fine and at easy availability when needed....try them
So there I was routinely carrying loose papers all related to the same topic or project. I was thinking to myself - wow wouldn't it be amazing if there was a way to neatly organize my papers so they wouldn't blow away all the time? Then my mind went into overdrive. Just a second! I could use a separate container thing for each different project! So my quest began. I started by driving a big spike through all my documents and carrying them that way. Sure it worked but it was hard to rearrange papers the huge hole in the middle obscured some of the words and let's not even mention that time I tripped while carrying several paper-filled spikes. Ouch. 'nuff said. Next I went with plastic storage bins. Much safer very protective for my documents but a bit cumbersome especially the projects that only had a few pieces of paper. Then a friend told me about folders. Friends my life changed. Where have these little gems been all my professional life? They keep your papers flat (bonus) aren't dangerous (double bonus) AND were fairly economical. Wow. I've been hooked and using folders ever since. Sure I miss the days of the spikes but not having to redo my tetanus shot every couple months is worth the switch. They're folders. They have tabs and fasteners. They don't spontaneously combust.
They are fine for what they are. I could not find the equivalent for what I was replacing - in the store nor online - the old ones had heavier paper and only one fastener. The extra fastener on these may get in the way - will see. With 50 in the box and only using one a year these should last us for a long time!
I bought these for a specific need - and had a choice between these and the hard-board ones costing considerably more. Staples needs to find an alternative that is economical but stronger than these - which seem to be thinner than even regular "manila file folders". Something between this quality and the hard-board ones would be ideal. but alas no choice exists at Staples.
The folders are perfect for what our company uses them for but very expensive when we use about 1000 of them on a normal basis. having the fasteners is a brilliant way to keep organized but again it is still very expensive if we need to keep buying them.
