I didn't watch this series when it was on TV when I was in my teens. my folks watched it then. I wanted to see it now that I'm older. I ordered this, watched it and gave it to a friend. I collected the other Star Trek series and decided to watch this one again.

Love the show and the episode guide. The only thing I dislike, and this would seem to apply to most if not all collections, the episodes are in order of airdate instead of the order they were made. On the upside, it does list the episode number so that I can watch them in chronological order if I want/

Has all 79 aired episodes PLUS the original, unaired pilot episode with Captain Pike in charge. Exactly what I was wanting.

My favorite TV show. Can't imagine why I haven't bought it before.. oh the price. This was a very good price and I'm glad I purchased it. The picture quality is terrific.

Excellent remastered copy
Beautifully remastered copy of the original Star Trek series. Colours are bright and vibrant, clarity is excellent and sound is great. Very pleased with this purchase.

The Cage pilot is MIA
The only downside to this boxset that I found so far, is it does not include the original pilot called the cage. Unless it's in the behind the scenes and I just haven't seen it yet, it is one of the critical pieces of Star Trek TOS that is missing from this boxset.

Great show, but delivery was not
I love this show, which is why I bought the dvd set, but the packaging came broken and so I have to put the discs in different cases.

Poor menu design
The designer of the menu on the discs did a miserable job.! it is very difficult to make selections from the menu. Sometimes I have to try three or four times to pick the episode I want.
