Star Wars BladeBuilders Spin-Action Lightsaber

This toy is not for young children under ten. My grandson loves it and was excited to play with it.

My son who is seven absoultely loved this lightsaber. He does not watch the movies or anything like that because of his age,but he wanted this lightsaber. I like that it keeps him entertained and he playing outside. I seen him spinning it and changing it to make it larger. He loves it and it was a great gift for his Birthday.

I bought this lightsaber for my nephew for Christmas & it was a hug success!

He loves this toy. May be his favorite this Christmas!

My grandson loved it, especially the spinning action and ability to add his other light saber.

Bought this for my son and he loves it! Even his older brothers do too!

The item arrived on time and we opened the box to ensure it was what we expected. Then wrapped it for our 12 year old's birthday gift. The saber didn't work so we checked the batteries that were included and installed already. There was a lot of corrosion on the two top batteries and the bottom and third battery was so corroded, we could hardly even tell it was supposed to be a battery. My husband cleaned the battery area out as best he could, installed new batteries and it still didn't work. We left it on the table for an hour and then it actually started working. I suggest when you include batteries, they should be in a separate wrapped container, not in the device itself.

I have ordered two of these; both arrived with corroded batteries rendering the lightsaber inoperable. I'm assuming all things are old enough that all of the in stock items are damaged. they should not have been stored with the batteries installed.

I would like to return the item, but seem to have to jump thru hoops to make that happen. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
