Starbucks Caffè Verona, Hot or Iced Coffee, Medium Roast K-Cup Coffee Pods, 22 Count

I love the Sumatra coffee pods. I’m hooked on Starbucks anyway, but this one wins the prize. It has a bold, smooth flavor. You know in the morning when you wake up and you’re groggy? Can you make that cup of coffee and take your first sip. This is one of those that just makes you say, “Ahhh, so good!” It’s comfort in a cup and I love the aroma. I am an avid coffee drinker. I love a bolder coffee that has a smooth taste, not bitter. This one feels that bill, especially for a K-cup. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I even put my coffee machine on strong. It gives it that extra little boost and brews it slower. You definitely get the coffee flavor. I drink mine black, but I have put peppermint mocha creamer in it. It’s strong enough to take the creamer without losing the taste.

I used to drink Starbucks Italian but over time I decided I needed a less strong but still full bodied and full flavored coffee. This espresso roast fits that bill perfectly. Verona is milder yet and sometimes too mild with added milk. So espresso roast for milked coffee is perfect for me. Great product!

If I had one word to describe this coffee, it would be BOLD. It packs a punch of caffeine and flavor without tasting bitter. If you’ve tried Starbucks Pike Place it’s very similar but with a note of Espresso. We prefer Starbucks Espresso Roast!

Pike Place is a flavorful medium blend that is strong yet mellow. I can see why this is one of Starbuck's best sellers. Unfortunately this was my last purchase for coffee from Walmart.com website. I have the Keurig 2.0 system that only allows k-cups that have their new markings for their coffee maker to scan and read. It will not brew the old style Keurig k-cups or any brand that is not Keurig's Green Mountain (exp. Gevalia, Luzianne) brand or their affiliates. I have attached a picture of the new style lid, there is a ring around the edge that says "Keurig Brewed". The new k-cup boxes say "for use in all Keurig k-cup brewers". I will need to buy this product in person at Walmart.

The caramel flavor is really nice—not too strong, just a smooth, sweet finish. I usually grab it at Walmart when I want a little treat without paying coffee shop prices. Wish it had a slightly bolder roast, but still a solid pick!

This coffee is the best I've ever tasted. The rich buttery, caramel taste is just amazing. It has spoiled me for all other coffee flavors!

I have ordered these Starbucks cups twice now. I didn't give it 5 stars because the second time I ordered them the taste was too bitter. I'm not sure why because the first time I ordered these the Pike's taste was great. Anyway, this option is much cheaper than going to Starbucks and it certainly tastes much stronger than the generic brand I bought from Sam's Club. Overall, I would buy again.
