Great deal for great headphones

DNM October 28, 2019

I got a great deal from Walmart on these headphones and was very pleased with them as soon as they came. The packaging was cool and the headphones covered my whole ear without being too big. (I typically appreciate more subtle headphones so I appreciate these being more compact and in a more demure color than my bright green ones.) I also am very grateful that the microphone is detachable, since I don't need it most of the time since I primarily use these to listen to music. The volume control on the left headphone is the best feature in my opinion because it saves me the time and effort of altering the volume on whatever device I'm using them with (phone, computer, etc). I would definitely purchase from SteelSeries again.

Best Headphones i've had in awhile!

ijlindsay October 29, 2019

Fantastic product! Great sound quality, and great talking function. Love how it fits over ears, especially mine since I have big ear lobes but it was extremely comfortably, even for late night video gaming sesh with the crew.

Great headphones

Mac October 28, 2019

Pleasantly surprised with these headphones. They are comfy, noise cancelling and not too ugly. Like they aren't no bose or beats but they are $50 so thank you walmart.

Best headset I've ever owned

Zion August 11, 2021

I completely love this headset. I got it for playing call of duty and it has not failed me yet. I can hear my teammates and game perfectly. I can accurately tell where my opponent is at with the stereo surround sound. The comfort is perfect for all day fit. And lastly, don't even make me get started on that price.

Best value gaming headset under $50!

Jaben March 17, 2021

I wanted a new gaming headset perfect for my needs. My old headset is somewhat generic and cheaply made. When I saw this headset, I was thinking that this headset could be used for multiple purposes. I like the fact that the headset doesn't look too gamer-like because in some public occasions, I bring headphones with me, and I won't be stared by people thinking that my headphones look childish, distracting, silly, and funky. I like how the mic is detachable and I don't have to use headsets with flipping or retractable mics. The mic affects the looks and comfort of this headset. Mic isn't too close to your mouth, it's at the right position. I tested the mic and it's perfect for games, calls, and meetings. Could work for streaming, but it's not the best. It's still crisp and clear. Keep in mind that as you mute your mic, people will hear it, but that shouldn't be such a problem. I tried bending, stress-testing, and twisting the headset and so far, it's pretty flexible. I did feel some worry that my headset was too stressed when I tried bending the headband, but it's the metal headband and the head cushion that made it feel stressed, and there's no need to worry because both the headband and cushion are durable, I'm more than likely sure that they won't break if you stress them. The clamping force on this headset are easy on my head and ears. It's perfectly clamped. The materials are better than your average headset. It uses sport materials on the ear cushions and memory foam on head cushion. I like the swivel on the ear cups, it makes it more compact and convenient. The headset is light, I would use this for travel too. The sound quality is quite impressive. The 3D surround sound, bass, and volume were one of the biggest details I noticed. Good for music, gaming, and talking. No rattling when I move the headset (I held the ear cups to get accurate results). For the durability, no scratches, failures, or defects are reported. I just bought it. However, I do insure that you should at least buy a 2 year protection plan for this. The cable is rubber, I like rubber better than braided because braided adds more weight to headphones, gets caught onto random objects, and not flexible. However, what I mostly didn't like is that the volume scroll wheel feels a bit loose. It might accidentally move. Overall, best gaming headset for under $50. If you're someone like me who games, listens to music, calls, and watches videos, you'll be satisfied with this headset.

Pretty decent

ITatHome November 29, 2021

Some noise canceling which is what I was looking for. I didn't want to break the bank. The headband part has a cushion as well. I'd maybe add more cushion at the ears for glasses wearers as this seems to force the harder parts to lay on the ears. But overall, pretty decent.

useless after 3 months

Cory August 29, 2022

Bought on May 20th, it is now August 30th and this headset is completely useless. Problems with echo from the start, and now the wire that plugs into the controller has already gone bad and you get nothing but static. Should have known better for 50.00. DO NOT BUY

Mic did not work for me

Robert February 13, 2021

The microphone did not work at all. Win10 could not find it. Headphones sort of worked but very very soft sound. I am a pc gamer and needed a headset to replace an old one that finally gave up the ghost after 8 years. This did not work as I could not talk to team mates. HIGHLY frustrating/
