The sound on these things is great. I'd been using Razer black sharks plugged into a turtle beach chat controller on my xbox for years until the cat are the wire. Looking for a replacement I gave these a try. The comfort is better, they are lighter and haven't made me ears sweat and the game sound quality is great. My only ding is I've never been a fan of the retractable microphones but none of my friends have complained about my audio. Switching to the SteerSeries from Razer has ben very satisfying.

I got them for my son for Christmas! He absolutely loves them! The only thing is the cord wasn't long enough! I recommend getting and extra 3.5 6ft cord so you have a little more freedom to move around! Other than that the quality is great and when he plays with others his microphone works amazing! If my boy likes it that's saying a lot because he's very picky when it comes to headphones!

To be honest, I was not expecting these headphones to be good however, when I got them, I was surprised how tight they are to your ear so you can listen more in the game. I use these headphones to play hitman and Fortnite and rainbow six siege and I was surprised how the headphones catcher the sound I would recommend you buy. This is good quality. I was a little bit bamboozled because I couldn’t find the mic, but I didn’t know that they was secure. They have a little secret compartment where you are might hide and once you want to use it, just pull it and you can use your mic.

Pretty nice, sturdy set of headphones so far. The sounds quality isn’t the best, but it also isn’t horrible. One feature I did like is that the MIC is able to be tucked away, (slid back into the earphone) for storage or just when using the headphones %26 not the mic. Although it does make me wonder how long it will last, sliding it in %26 out.. As these are mainly for my 8 YO... %26 kids can sometimes be hard on things.. I did get the 2 year warranty that seems to cover the basics, plus some. So that is a nice safety to be able to implement if he does end up damaging them somehow, as long as it’s within in the terms of the warranty, we should be okay. All in all, worth the $50. My son is happy, %26 able to game with his friends again. %26 They didn’t break the bank. I should note, we just got these last month. So I will update my review in a couple more to see how they held up. But so far, so good.

Arrived in perfect condition functions well, the major selling point for me is the NON-braided cable and the ability to replace the cable on the headset the main point of failure. if you are like me and get annoyed at braided cables but still want a wired headset steel series arctis nova 1 has you covered there.

Theses headphones are great and work fantastic. The only gripe I have with them is that the mic is super sensitive. It picks up the ceiling fan even when it's on low. Other than that, I recommend these headphones as a cheaper alternative to the more expensive ones.

I got these on a sale and they were nice but a couple of weeks later and they started to echo for my friends in the party chat and u could hear what I was doing like listen to music or going back to Home Screen and then it got worse when I couldn't even talk after a few days

The button placement is a little odd, I am afraid of accidentally hanging up when I put them on to take a call. But overall, they are wonderful for the price that I paid! I prefer/need smaller headphones, so the fact that these are very adjustable is perfect for me.

Nope. The sound quality for the game is good, and they are comfortable. However (and most importantly) Bad mic! They constantly crack in and out when talking on them. Very frustrated. and before you think, you get what you pay for. we bought our hyperX's for fifty bucks each, and they were great. expected more from this brand.

Spent hours trying to install them. Even watched a video from steelseries themselves and still couldn't get them to work. Returned and bought a Razer headset instead. Plugged in and they worked straight away. No installments needed. Just like it should be.
