I was sick of getting pestered by little bugs flying around, in my office, kitchen and bathroom. They were too little %26 fast for me to squish. This was a game changer, because I had thought about tossing out my house plants and now I don’t have to. It’s like a little blue sticky night light. That catches all sizes of flying insects that are in your home. Hold the blue disposable sticky sheet by the corner while you peel off the plastic, slip it in the slot %26 plug it in where you see them!
I was hesitant to get this, even though the drain flies were driving me bananas... I thought I could fix it myself with the apple traps, with boiling water, with baking soda and vinegar,,, and they still kept coming back. Finally I caved and got this "nightlight". And I never looked back. What a great overnight solution. I'll be keeping this for a long time!
Perhaps The best product. We have been inundated with gnats perhaps drain gnats/flies and I have shot glasses with vinegar and a drop of dish liquid all around the kitchen bathroom %26 bathroom and they have collected many! I thought I would try this product. The first one I purchased didn’t seem To catch much of anything, second day, maybe two. But now it has gathered more and I got a second for the bathroom which just arrived today. The first one being in the kitchen, where we see the most… they seem to like the coffee pot area.
i was skeptical based on some of the reviews but decided to try anyway. have had a terrible gnat problem in the kitchen and one of the bathrooms. i bought 2 and put one in each of these rooms. in less than 24 hours bith of them have alot of gnats on them! i am so impressed by how well this works! glad i purchased and would highly recommend. i cannot say if it would work on any other flying insects as gnats were my only problem
I hesitated to purchase this because of some of the reviews but I sm glad I did. I've been using the stem spray and really like that product! no nasty bug spray smell and combats palmettos 1,2,3! So I decided to try this plug-in with the hope that it worked. Living in Florida there are these nasty bugs called noseeums and the name speaks for itself. They fit through regular screens and bite 10x worsd than mosquitos. You cant see them to kill them unless you stare at your body 24/7 and the bite csn itch for days. So getting back to the plug-in IT WORKS! I have had it plugged in now for 3 days and there are 3 of those little buggers stuck to it. Nice to be able to sit in my home and not get eaten alive. I highly recommend this product and for all you negative nellies maybe you got a bad plug-in!
Night seems to be when it catches the most and works best if you have no other lights shining at night. After I got rid of all my other night lights throughout the house, it started catching lots of flying insects. I am a crazy plant lady, and with houseplants, there will always be gnats. I now have 4 of these throughout my home, and they are working great, not only for gnats, but also fruit flies and mosquitoes! (Pictures were the morning after I removed all other night lights.)
I love that the light on it looks like a blue light so the bugs could be attracted to it at night. i just saw a bug stuck on it and i am happy that it works!
The package had the light device and 2 of the blue sticky traps. That's one initial trap and ONE REFILL, not 2 refills. The images show one of the blue traps in the light device and then 2 refills, and it says 2 REFILLS. I bought this (instead of another brand of very similar device) specifically because it showed and indicated 3 traps for the $20 charge. Ripped off.
After a week in use, two traps caught only two gnats each. Meanwhile, the cup of dish soap and white wine mix caught 20 gnats. I placed both the STEM trap and my homemade trap next to one another. The homemade trap won. The STEM trap may work better for other insects, but it's a no-go for gnats.
Hasn’t done anything . I placed it in a corner by my fruit stand as there had been fruit flies … no results . They seemed to increase . I bought the Terro fruit fly trap and within 2 days no more fruit flies. A (2) pack of those were about 1/4 of the price and did the job
