These boots look rugged and strong, and they are that, BUT..they are lightweight! Which is great for my 5 yr old. He put them on when they arrived and kept them on for about 30 mins. He was running and jumping and playing in them. I appreciate that because he'll be able to wear them comfortably in school all day. The look on his face when he felt how soft and cozy the inside is, was priceless! Very pleased so far, I can't comment on durability yet. I will report back if anything changes.

We bought these shoes for my 11yo daughter. She had an old ones that got too small. When we were browsing and saw these, she immediately wanted them, so we've got them. The winter shoes are perfect for her. They are true to size, very good quality and easy to put on and secure with the Velcro straps. So far they been "holding on" her use (or may I say abuse?). She's been using them for couple weeks and I have not noted any signs of wear and tear so far, which is good. I would recommend these.

My son says they are really comfortable and very warm. I think they may run large for some kids because the shoes are really wide/broad. They seem sturdy.
