Best thing next to running around barefoot

BunBun September 26, 2025

I got my shoes in yesterday and I love them. I ordered a size 7 and I was nervous because most shoes squish my toes but these are so roomy and comfy. I miss running around barefoot in my yard but with all the scorpions and cacti I don't get to anymore. But with these.. it's the next best thing.

Barefoot shoes review

Janette June 6, 2026

I thought these shoes are really cute and pretty comfortable. I've been wearing them for a while and I don't notice any difference In helping with aches and pains. When I wear them I think they do help my balance. All in all, I would buy them again because I like the way they look.

I have 3 pairs of these shoes. the black, white and pink. With low back issues ( spondylolisthesis) these are wonderul for my back. not 100% but atleast 80% make my back pain so much better. my normal size was big on me, I am a womens size 8 and had to go down to a size 7 in these for a perfect fit. They are super comfortable and i wear them daily. i highly recommend for those with neuropathy and low back issues.

Arrived in a 14-in brown envelope from a US warehouse, though made in China. I've not taken them off since they came, not wearing any socks, I wear size 7.5 USA and got the next size up. Will order another pair tomorrow. know already these are terrific for neuropathy, may sleep with them all night, comfortable, roomy, my physical therapist and neurologist recommended. Your feet deserve these shoes!

I was very wary of ordering, but was mildly surprised when they arrived. it's hard for me to get shoes of any type to fit me I have small wide feet and these water shoes fit me perfectly the width is beautiful the size is great they are extremely comfortable and I can't wait until I'm able to wear them at the beach this year.

Thank You Stepedia!

I resisted buying any of the so-called "barefoot shoes" because they were just too expensive! I did try a pair of water socks once, but the neoprene uppers were just too snug. My feet have this aversion to being squished, which comes from my childhood experience of being made to wear hand-me-down shoes that didn't really fit. But another company advertised a barefoot shoe - let's say you could take a "hike" in them - for under $50 so I thought I'd try them. They felt great but I had to choose between a size 10, which still crunched one of my toes, or a size 11 which felt like clown shoes on me. I had to face it - I'm a true size 10 1/2. So I thought I was out of luck. Then I found these! Stepedia sells half-sizes in the larger range, which most sellers don't bother with, and the price was something I could afford! So I pulled the trigger and purchased a pair. Two days after I ordered my shoes, they were at my doorstep. They were undamaged because they were packaged well, and I honestly don't know how you could beat that level of service. But the shoes!!! OMG, they fit! No scrunching of any of my toes! No foot-squeeze! This is absolutely marvelous! The claim of the barefoot shoe market is that it's not your feet that have the problem, it's the shoe you're putting around them. I honestly believed I needed that cushioning in the insole because my arches had a habit of "dropping." Two weeks in my first pair of barefoot shoes, scrunched toe or not, proved to me that I was wrong. My falling arches haven't fallen even once in those shoes. The first week, I could feel my foot muscles getting stronger and they feel so good. Imagine how good I feel now that I can have the barefoot shoe experience without the scrunched toe! I'm telling you right now, Stepedia is my new go-to for barefoot shoes. I hope they read this, because I'm ready for different colors. I don't want white (I'd ruin them in a day) and the bright pink isn't for me. But I could give you all kinds of ideas, and I hope you consider making a bootie style, as well. I will most definitely buy them!

Nice but seems to run larger than stated.

Good shoe. Does come with inserts even though they don't say in the description. Most reviewers said they run small and I almost ordered a larger size. Glad I did not. I ordered my correct size. They run slightly looser than a snug fit , but will work well in the colder weather with socks on. I wouldn't wear them without socks.

Nice wide toe box..... especially wearing toe spacers for bunions and hammer toe straighteners (all from Walmart) I wear them in the house. They're easy to slip on and off. I also, wear my orthotics with them..... there's a lot of stuff that wide toe box can handle. 😊 I usually wear 7 1/2 or 8. Decided to go the bigger size. Perfect!!

I have had surgery on both feet and they are worse now than before, it's so hard to find a shoe that doesn't cramp my toes and is comfortable to wear all day. I've had these for 2 weeks now and love them. The wide toe box is perfect and the shoe is super light weight making this shoe perfect for long walks and everything you do.
