Forget butterfly bandages. They do not stick and they do not hold skin together. These are a bit pricey, but when you have an emergency, you need something that sticks and stays put. These are made to go right over the wound and pull a deep cut together. They stick well, and the adhesive did not bother the skin and it came off pretty easily after the would was healed.
It is a lightweight cover (but is not as strong as the white strips by Equate). It is excellent for covering small cuts in more obvious locations. It hides well on very light skin and is less annoying than a large bandaid. I forget it is there, because it doesn't pull like bandaids sometimes do. I plan to order another pack, just to have it around when needed. It is easy to apply and remove.
I can't say anything negative about this item. I had an emergency. I needed these type of strips. I had ordered several different types of strips. these strips were the best ones. I had back surgery a few weeks ago and they removed the Staples out 2 weeks later give or take. as I was eating and kind of leaned over my incision opened up. I was really scared as in the evening hours everybody was closed. the next day I had contact my surgeon's office which is almost 2 hours away and they told me to go with butterfly bandages or steri strips. I tried both types of bandages steri strips worked the best. It was this brand that actually helped the best and stayed on without falling off. it really secured both ends of the incision. after about a week, the incision had finally closed up and started to heal very well. If anything like this happens again I will definitely go with the same strips as mentioned. I would recommend this type of strip to anyone. These strips held securely even while taking a shower they stayed on. so I highly recommend this brand the size. sorry, no photos of the item. just my incision
This product precisely met my requirements for scar treatment and complemented the bandages I typically use. Furthermore, its suitability was exceptional given the specific nature of my surgery, and this particular type was challenging to procure.
I had a cut on my finger and the ER doc used them on my finger. I never heard of them, but did like them That is why I ordered them from Walmart.
I felt like these were overpriced for 6 strips, which is why I gave it a 4 star overall and a 3 star on affordability. They do work, but are overpriced!
The steri strips were easy to apply. However, they didn't stick very well. They came off rather quickly. It didn't stay in place.
Length and color are great (blends in with skin tone). Not waterproof (does not stick when wet). Needs better adhesive.
It didn't stay on. It literally was on for like five minutes and that popped right off of my clean and dry skin.
Thought there would be more product for the money spent. The product received was good, but not plentiful.
