I use these to stabilize my port in my chest before I apply a fresh tegaderm and they are perfect. My nurse tells me every week that she has never seen a site so healthy. Granted this isn't for everyone but they are very high quality and do an excellent job stabilizing an area. I know they will work well for their intended purpose.
I stand myself with a knife, trying to get sausage heart and it really hurt, but this sutures helped me to put it back together and hold it very good so I would recommend these on any kind of cut that you have. They were a little bit big, but they did a job and I do. I am glad that I got these.
These work great! Keep the gauze pad in place and do not hurt my skin. I have lupus and bandages and tape can be harsh on my skin. Had skin cancer removed from my nose, with a large scar, these were perfect. Kept everything in place without aggravating my skin. Priced good too.
I was trying to trim my toenail and the clipers slipped. I accidentally cut a deep gash in my toe. I put an Equate antibiotic on it and applied 2 half strips of Equate Surgical tape strips tight across the wound so it was completely closed. It did not come loose until the wound was healed (about 10 days). It's a whole lot cheaper the $150 at the ER.
I was so happy to see that Walmart carried this product. It's a very good product is excellent for protecting the wound and reassure you that it's going heal quickly great product
I had a fairly long strip of stitches from a skin cancer removed on my left arm. I had to change my dressings daily until the stitches were removed. I needed to cover the stitches with the sterile strips and then reward my arm daily.
These are like hospital grade strips. They stay in place for days even through the shower. I use to order the ones from China in, but these are far more reliable and better.
Very strong chic was a surprise because they are so thin and the adhesive holds great. I was looking for something to hold a wound closed and I like these better than butterfly strips. Excellent product at a great Walmart price.
Hey, I hate hospitals these wound closure save my life. It's like my papa is my own personal doctor clean it out. Pull it together and closure it up. Much better than stitches.
These wound closure strips work effectively for those in between “should I get stitches?” cuts for all the DIY enthusiasts out there. I only gave 4 stars because I didn't love how many were in a single package. Once opened they're no longer “sterile” but I think they'll work as intended for next time. If you need them to be sterile and only need a couple, it could be a waste of money.
