Sterilite 8 Gallon Durable Indoor Household Under Sink Plastic Wastebasket, White

I have a typical twin-bay side-by-side stainless steel sink with standard cabinet doors underneath. This basket slides perfectly into the right side door and fits between the sink drain and the cabinet wall. It would work on either side but we use the right side sink for washing dishes and the left side sink for draining. When we have napkins or other waste, it's easier for us to open the right door and drop the trash into the wastebasket. I bought standard 8 gallon bags and they work perfect. The wastebasket is thick-wall plastic so I think it'll last a pretty long time . The top edge is rolled over so it's easy to grip when you need to pull it out. I've only used it for a couple of weeks but I am very pleased with the construction, the fit and Walmart's price.

I had originally planned to use it for trash and once my husband saw it he said "why don't we use it for all those plastic bags we get when we go shopping." So that's what we are using it for. Although I did not use it under the sink, I have another great use for this wastebasket. I do artwork, and have I have so much paper trash. I've been putting that trash in a smaller wastebasket. This necessitates several trips to the larger recycle trash container, each day. I put the Sterilite wastebasket under my work table. Now I can make one trip to the main recycle container, a day. It's easy to throw my art trash into the Sterilite basket because it has the easy slide cut out in the front. Great time saver, and easy on my walking up and down stairs. all day. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for a slim wastebasket to go under my laundry room cupboards. This is the perfect size for people who need to save space under the cabinets. It has a taller back so that it doest tip over and it holds a lot of trash lol.

The wastebasket fits well under my kitchen sink which is a very small area. Because of sink drain, I need to slide it in on a slight angle. Anything larger would not fit under my corner sink. I especially like the fact that there is a lower end. It makes it much easier to throw waste away without needing to remove the can or hitting the fascia. I have used this Under Sink Wastebasket in my laundry room since I have so much garbage that gets collected there. I love how the size is big but it doesnt fit a standard sack so you would need to buy a bigger one to put inside. Its sturdy, holds a lot and looks great. I would definitely buy another.

The measurements are not accurate. This is too small for the under cabinet trash slide out thing. Wish I could return it.
