Sterno Folding Camp Stove 70308

I have muti purposes for this Sterno , wood if needed for emergencies and other uses as in emergency outdoors in a safe location on a table for long term if necessary but will be experimenting with the different uses an excellent emergency item, for outdoor heating of water and smaller meals like bacon and eggs. This item gets high praise in the camping outdoor videos. And some of best channels. Just be safe with an cooking setup. I would be nice if you sold a Stainless steel version as well . Same design!

Love this for power loss emergency. Heated water for instant coffee using Canned Heat fairly quickly. Stove did not get hot on sides or bottom. Height and setting of canned heat makes the flame hit the bottom of cooking pan in the middle so you get an even heat. Be sure to set the canned heat in the correct location. Economical and convenient. I am pleased.

I bought this camp stove to use if my electricity goes out. I haven't had to use it yet, but it appears to be well-made.

Its compact and love that you can throw it together in seconds and have a fresh cup of coffee in no time while camping. Works great when the power goes out also.

I will be using the sterno camp stove with a Trangia alcohol burner during power outages in my house. Should work great. The Trangia fits well in it if I set it in an empty tuna can in the sterno stove. The tuna can fits perfectly to hold the Trangia burner.

Bigger size than my other foldable stereo stoves. A little flimsy and has a bottom bracket inside of some kind that my son said needs to be removed for the sterno can to sit level.

This product has been made in USA for decades. Overall it is well made of quality materials. It is fairly lightweight. It comes knocked down. You have to assemble it. After a few minutes you see how this works. I won't spoil your fun. Now here is the bug: The stout wire fingers that hold the Sterno Can are a joke! You'll see what I'm talking about if you get one. If you have the proper tools just cut them off. They aren't needed. If you are bored and with the proper tools, bend them so they support the can! I recommend this old line USA made product but the can support is an after thought. Remember you get a way to block wind with this stove. A simple wind block can be quickly made with tin foil … I love Sterno Heat. With a set of simple pot stands meant for an Alcohol Stove you're cooking! Used this way it is so simple and relatively lightweight . SIX HOURS OF HEAT!

I ordered this stove for emergencies. I have used Sterno before simply to keep things warm, so I know not to expect much heat. However, the stove I got was not useable at all because it had not been assembled properly. The wires that hold the can of fuel were incorrectly placed, and I could not move them myself without destroying the stove. I sent a photograph of the stove to the seller and I asked for a replacement stove with the correct installation of the wires. They refunded my money instead.

larger than it needs to be it should fit a standard baking tray also the security which holds the canyon place is not very stable and it is not disclosed at the purchase of this if this is a wick candle with a liquid or if it's a paste burning material they don't have very good disclosure on the contents of these cans

unfortunately it was bent when I got it AND I can't blame FedEx because the package was in perfect condition only the item was damaged
