I bought the phone from Walmart too, and had it shipped with Walmart . Delivery was quick, no issues there. The only headache was activation. The first rep I spoke to kept insisting I needed to buy a separate plan, even though it clearly says the $25 SIM includes one. The kit doesn't come with a PIN card — it just has a “scan to activate” barcode. I tried doing it through the app, but it didn't work. Eventually, I called again and got a different rep who knew what he was doing. He confirmed the plan was included and got me activated in under five minutes. After that, everything worked fine. Calls were clear, data ran smooth, and I could even change my number by texting 611 — super easy. For $25 a month (about $30 after taxes), you get solid service at a fair price. Tip: If activation gives you trouble, skip the app and call customer service directly. And if you get someone who sounds unsure, just hang up and call again — the next person might actually help. Overall, not perfect, but definitely worth it for the price. Reliable service, smooth once it's running, and Walmart handled the refund for my first faulty kit instantly — no hassle. That alone makes it worth recommending.

This is for people that are switching to Straight Talk, and who are bringing their own phone. I bought my son a Straight Talk phone, not knowing that it already came with a SIM card in it. And I bought this as well, thinking that it would work because I'm a new Straight Talk customer and all, and this came with a SIM kit and all, and I bought a Straight Talk phone. But nope. It wouldn't work, and I don't get my money back either. I had to go spend an extra $35 on a phone plan for him for Straight Talk. And I'm going to try and use this Straight Talk kit for my unlocked extra iPhone that I have, that does not have service yet. Hopefully it will work. But yeah, they need to make the instructions more clear on these things. Otherwise it would be a really good deal if it would work lol

It was a pain to set up. Took hours of waiting and then waiting on the phone, but eventually did get set up. This is a great price, but straight talk isn't what it used to be. Since verizon acquired straight talk, I now have low bars and poor service.

It was a waste of money and time the sim cardvis useless because it cant be used due to it not being scanned prr the phone company when i tried to get the service on

Great concept. But the phone verification needs to be updated because I purchased this after “verifying” its “compatibility” with device, only to find the SIM card is too large to fit in my device.

I purchased a SIM card kit on Walmart website for straight talk. It asked for my IMEI number to see if the phone was compatible. It said it was compatible and to buy this SIM card kit. I got the SIM card kit put the SIM card in my phone said it wasn't compatible called straight talk and they said it was supposed to come with two SIM cards card a SIM card B apparently I have SIM card a which is not compatible straight talk will not give me my money back or send me a SIM card B and Walmart doesn't take returns on SIM card kits so now I'm out almost 40 bucks because they didn't send me the right Sim card kit. Your partnership with straight talk is whack.

This card is a joke. It is FRAUD! I NEVER GOT IT TO WORK, I MADE SURE MAY PHONE WAS COMPATIBLE, THAT MY AREA WORKED WELL WITH SERVICE. PLUS I ALREADY WAS A TOTAL WIRELESS CUSTOMER ALREADY. THEY ARE BOTH IN THE SAME COMPANY. I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH EVERY PERSON IN "CUSTOMER SERVICE" THERE IS. 12 HOURS!!! NEVER GOT HELP THEY KEPT TELLING ME LIES. I FELL AT HOME, WAS IN THE HOSPITAL FOR 6 WEEKS AND LOST ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHIG. I AM IN A HOMELESS SHELTER, A GREAT ONE WITH A RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM THAT I AM HALF WAY THROUGH AND DOING VERY WELL. NEXT I GO ON TO FIND NEW JOB SKILLS AND JOBS THAT WORK BEST FOR ME BECAUSE MY INJURY RUINED THE USE OF MY RIGHT HAND. SORRY. I AM JUST SO FRUSTRATED. Bought new phone and this kit from Walmart When we tried to activate it said that it wasn't compatible with our device. Called customer service and all they could do was offer 15 days of service using the $25 card number. Do not waste your money. Such a scam

I never received this item and I didn't receive an item on my previous order. This is ridiculous! Y'all are playing with peoples hard earned money and the fact that this was diapers that I needed for my child!! Y'all really need to get it together and figure out what is happening to my items! I'm to the point where I'm ready to cancel my account with y'all and shop at Kroger across the hwy!!
