You get a lot for your money as far as physical objects go and it definitely gets the kids excited. “Test tubes” and their holder, glasses, scientist badge, and everything needed besides simple things every person has in their home. But every experiment we tried were complete duds. Technically, yes, they all did SOMETHING, but not the exciting, over the top reactions like the booklet states will happen. The booklet gives explanations on why things happen but I would say this is definitely an 8 kit for them to grasp what it's saying
