I have natural curly hair that is very thick, frizzy and coarse. I use this Mousse while my hair is wet and let it dry on it's on. It crease a darker, shinier curl and I love it! It's very hard to use anything else. I have tried name brands, and salon brands with no luck.
I have used this product for years. Recently I bought a name brand gel and did not like that as well. This gives me the ease of finger shaping my hair and just a slight dampening gives me that look for several days before I wash my hair again.
The Best Mouse product I have used since 1978-Hands down vs Paul Mitchell -Sebastian- or any salon store brands. It holds, shines and flexable brush out to a stiffer wet look. Light weight---Nothing compares
I have used so many different products for my thinning hair and finally on a whim decided to try Suave Volumizing Mousse. I am convinced this is the best. I stopped using all my other expensive mousse products and only use this now. I use a round brush and lift and blow dry underneath and on top. It does make a difference on what type of brush you use to style with. I spray afterwards and my hair still looks good the next day after sleeping on it. Don't ever stop making this.
I love the firm control boosting mousse. My hair is very fine and hard to style, but the Suave firm control mousse gives my hair lots of volume and makes it easy to style. It really holds up in the high humidity here on the Gulf Coast. I don't notice the difference between the old and new mousse, like the other reviewers mentioned. I really love both of them. I did try the flexible control mousse and didn't like it at all because it made my hair flat. I only bought it because the firm control is so hard to find in stores. Please don't discontinue the firm control because I have tried so many different mousses and this one is the best!
My "go-to" product when I'm low on funds for my favorite salon brand. Holds my curls without the "crunch".
The product is very good, the problem is with the tape used to secure top of product during shipping, the adhesive is so sticky it is very hard to use the product, please find another tape that the adhesive comes off with the tape
I bought this thinking it had collagen in it beacause that is what the description says, however no where in the ingredients at least on my can does it mention collagen. I will still give it a try.
What is going on at Suave already. Suave - Firm Control Boosting Mousse has got to have something wrong with it. My hair beautiful Irish curls, soft, long and springy but not with Suave - Firm Control Boosting Mousse it feels like straw, dry, hard, crunchy and stiff beyond words. I want my old Suave mousse back darn it!
I recently bought a can of Suave - Firm Control Boosting Mousse and loved it -- for about three uses. The mousse, when used sparing, gave just the right body to my fine hair - very pleased with results. After the third or fourth use, however, the can became non-functional. Therefore, thinking I bought a defective can, I bought another can and after only two uses had the same experience. Running the nozzle under hot water only "fixed" one can, but then the product came out as a liquid, not with mousse consistency, even after a solid minute of shaking. You need to fix this issue: It's very frustrating. From what I have been now reading in reviews, this same packaging issue has been taking place for at least three to four years. I am a big fan of your products, but if the packaging cannot become functional, my business will go to competitors, as my current purchases of this product are an obvious waste of money.
